Our new favorite Chinese restaurant in the Big Island.
We were looking for a quick stop that was open around 11:00 am. That’s a pretty tall order in the waikaloa village area. This place was on point though.
My wife had the Orange chicken because she is a express baby, and she was pleased. Most items on the menu come ala carte, so it is a family style restaurant at heart. There was a plate section with the Orange chicken also, and it came with rice and mac salad.
I had the mapo tofu with a side of rice. Not the spiciest mapo I’ve had by a long shot, I will likely ask for extra spicy next time (if they do that). That is not to say it wasn’t flavorful though. It was delicious and had enough heat to satisfy most east coast people I imagine, but if you are from the south west… well… I feel like mapo means I should suffer a little, but maybe that’s just me.
Ask around a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. They might have been a little bored, so get in there and give them something to do! Totally worth it, and the portion to price ratio was super reasonable for hawaii!

Very tasty and reasonably priced. We went there in a rush to finish but I had the best Huiguorou so far in America. The staff and environment are very friendly. Did not get a chance to go back and eat again but this will be one of our Kona memories for sure!

A very delicious Chinese restaurant, the most perfect. My friends and I each had a rice plate. The taste is very good, the ingredients are fresh, and the portions are sufficient. I often eat in Kona before. Thank you very much for opening a new restaurant in Waikoloa. Highly recommended!

The food was really delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone who is planning to visit Big Island in near future. The Kon Pao chicken plate and Eggplant with Garlic Sauce was really awesome.

Awesome experience, super friendly and accommodating to dietary restrictions. They made special meals as requested. Had Broccoli beef and fried rice plate, I was told beef was tender and delicious. I’m a vegetarian and had sweet and sour tofu and noodles, also made special honey pecan tofu and rice, and a side of braised string beans. Everything was delicious.

Had a great time here. Living in Asia for a while, it was nice to see the menu had more authentic style dishes. We ordered from the side of the menu that was more family style where we ordered rice and a few dishes to share. Dishes were quite good and the service was welcoming. 謝謝

My family and I accidentally stumbled upon here and were pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible, extremely fresh with fast service. We ordered the orange chicken plate, crab Rangoon, chicken fried rice, and kun pao chicken. Everything was great and very reasonably priced. Would 100% recommend!

Good food. We had: 1 chicken pineapple fried rice, 1 sweet and sour chicken with pineapple, 1 veggie dish minus the baby corn, 1 small bowl/side dish of brown rice and 1 small bowl/side dish of jasmine rice. I had a Coke, My parents had water. All 3 glasses were of ice with liquid. Halfway through the glass of coke it tasted like flavored water. (Considering that only half of the glass tastes like what you paid for. They could have asked if we wanted ice or not.)
The dishes are regular/mild/no spice dishes.
You’re given side plates, napkins and forks. I asked for spoons, they are the serving spoons. not spoons you can put in your mouth. The spoons work well as knives. (the chicken was breaded in the sweet and sour sauce.)
Not offered and beside the cash register: soy sauce (multiple bottles) and two (single) different bottles of hot sauce.
The mobile card payment machine lists American and Canadian prices. ONLY pay in American! The woman does NOT tell you the Canadian price it is a 3.5% up charge. You will only find this out after paying, printed on the receipt. She only puts the machine on the table. Unknown, if the upcharge is even written on the machines screen. I’m from BC, Canada (which means) tipping starts at 15%. I tipped 15%…I would have only tipped 10%. If I had known about the extra up charge. I would call it a bait and switch pricing.
The bill was over $90.

Delicious Chinese food take-out with nice dining area for eat-in. I ordered Eggplant with Grilled Shrimp, Crab Rangoons and Jasmine rice to go. The girls were really sweet and my order was ready in 10 minutes. The eggplant was amazing! And I can’t believe they only charged $1.99 for rice that was enough for two. The Crab Rangoons were bland, I will skip next time. Convenient parking and very reasonable prices for Hawaii. Highly recommend!
