All around enjoyed this stop on our way from Bandon to Bend. Had a family of six with four kids (ages 5-9) and everyone was pleased. This is what you would expect for a roadside cafe, good food and character! Everyone was friendly and the portions were big. We had a mix of breakfast and lunch foods and no complaints. It was hot inside, either they have no AC or it was out, but wasn’t so bad that we couldn’t handle it. We would stop again if we are ever passing through.

My wife and I stopped by this charming little cafe along 38 last week. The service was amazing and made sure we never waited for anything. My wife had the pancakes with blueberry syrup while I had the Brother’s Omelette. Staff were pleasant and delivered our meals in a modest amount of time with a smile. The food was simply delicious, with fresh ingredients and solid portion sizes. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will definitely stop by more often as Drain doesn’t have many options for good food.

The 1lb burger was exactly what I was looking for. Girlfriend enjoyed a small bowl of clam chowder.

This place rocks, the waitstaff is verry considerate, and friendly, the food was great, as it has been every time i have eaten there, if you havent tried it, you must! Prices are fair, portions are great, perfect stop before heading to the coast!

Love the fries, perfect cross between french fry and potato round.
Ranch dip was good. (not thin & drippy), Friendly service, Good milkshakes, price is fair. Really like the bacon, thick cut great flavor. Great portion sizes. The place could use a dusting, but tables were clean. I liked the view myself.
Rustic, good lean burgers, Big buns, will be returning for more Peanutbutter milkshakes, 1lbs burgers, and what i will just refere to as “awesome fries”.)

Stop and try the fresh “shaved potato fries” my cheeseburger was fantastic too. This is a classic roadside country diner with great food and friendly service. They also sell pies.

We’ve tried to come twice now during business hours and both times they’ve been closed. The first time their chef had some kind of accident so they had to close mid day. The second time we came for breakfast during business hours and they had 1 sign that said closed and another that said open. Lights were on inside the restaurant, but the door was locked. Wouldn’t answer their phones either. Double checked to make sure I had the right number because they had a sign on the door that showed a new number. Nothing. No website to go to either to see updates if they are closed in advance. Pretty terrible service for an establishment. Can’t justify more than 1 star. The first time I can understand but it’s becoming a trend now and not a good one. Can’t even rate the food or anything else about the place because they’re so flaky and unreliable.
