I tried the katsu chicken for the first time and it completely won me over. The flavor was amazing, especially with just the right touch of sauce. I honestly couldn’t stop eating even after I was full. Everything tasted so good that I’m already looking forward to having it again!

Food was great but last time I ate here the chicken plate was around $12-14, now it’s about $18 chicken should never be that expensive, unfortunately prices have gone up quite a bit

Such an excellent and chill spot. I went in following the smell and they were just smoking the grill! Had a loco moco with bbq beef instead of the hamburger patty and I was in heaven. Everything is so yummy!

Walking in the lobby was super tiny, 2 tables and one had eaten food at it, the other was taken. Staff was super friendly. It was a great sit to get the order (one shrimp plate and Loaded kalua pork fries). I asked before I ordered if the fries came with sour cream and I was told they didn’t have any that it was going just to be the pork, fries, and the cabbage. Paid and waited. Got the fries and it was the fries and pork but lettuce and tomato on top. I swear every location makes them different and that’s ok but lettuce and tomatoes was an epic fail. I’ve had them differently some with bacon bits and sour cream and some with just the sour cream and cabbage.

Came here for the first time. Ordered the BBQ Mix Plate which consists of 2 scoops white rice, 1 scoop mac salad, bbq chicken, bbq beef, and bbq kalbi. The whole plate is legit and tastes exactly like back home in Hawaii. Not too many people can perfect the mac salad from home, but this place is delicious. It’s a perfect side dish to along the powerful flavor of the bbq meats. I also ordered the spam musubi. And just like home, the plate is expensive too lol, but it’s definitely worth it whenever I’m at any L&L because I don’t have one near my side of town. On this particular day, we had a Hawaii live music event. Kainoa & Friends also plays at various L&L locations for free, so please be sure to check him and his crew out. They’re amazing and worth going. I’ve posted the 2025 schedule for Kainoa.
The staff are super friendly and fast. The restaurant is definitely the smallest that I’ve been to in TX so far. Very limited tables to dine at inside and outside. Lots of parking and they have 1 unisex restroom.

Yummy seafood plate but my favorite is the beef and chicken! Quick and efficient, Clean tables, simple yet so worth the drive! L &L on this location did not disappoint! Recommended!
