Wasn’t a fan of this place. I’m not a big proponent of “pour your own beer” places to begin with, so there is that.
But the staff here, three very young 20 somethings were more interested in talking among themselves and showing the customers almost no engagement. One blonde girl was actively drinking a beer while we were there. I know it’s a pourhouse, but c’mon; be professional.
The beers on tap were good. They had a good selection. I’ll give Trails End that. But the tipping vibe almost felt mandatory.
If I’m pouring my own beer, what am I tipping the staff for? If they were engaging & willing to talk, then this would have been a different & more positive review
One visit was enough.

Still awaiting the addition of more taps and their kitchen, the new Trails End location in Monument keeps the heart and hospitality of the anchor location down in the Springs. The historic building and small town setting give a decidedly different vibe than the bustling trail hub in OCC, but it’s a location I’ll be happy to return to and plan on visiting again. Also, the Monument Mule is pretty freakin good.

Great place to stop and have a little food and drinks- fantastic beer and pizza! Very cool place and despite the internet being down, the owner was able to cook up a great pizza!

In love, in love, in love with this place! It’s small and cozy, it feels like Colorado and there is a back yard with a fire pit and blankets. And lights strung up. I mean, does it get any better!?
You walk in, start a tab and get a card for self pour taps. The taps have beer and gluten free ciders. It is very clear on the screen how much you are pouring and what the cost is!
They also have a kitchen with kiddo friendly and gluten free options. The gluten free pizza was delish!
I definitely recommend!! Will be coming back!

10 stars! What’s better than sitting in a 152 yr old log cabin drinking a nice cold beer?
The staff was amazing too. Really nice people!

One of my favorite places in monument. If you’ve never been to a self pour tap room you have to check it out. Pour as little as you want so you’re free to try new things without having to have a full glass. With ciders, different beers, a mule cocktail, and wine there’s something for everyone! The owner Charles and his entire staff are incredible. The community feel of the tap room and the welcoming patrons will make you feel very at home. Stop in and say hello!

It’s a very tiny but dynamic pub with self-serve taps and a pub menu that includes various pizzas. Friendly, small town popular, this biked-themed local place is full of joyful, chatty folks. Staff is great, friendly, and helpful. In warm weather, the outdoor seating expands the space, but there’s a firepit if you want to escape the indoor crush in cold weather. Plans for expansion are in the works! Live music is available occasionally as well as special food trucks. A wonderful place to hang out with your friends!

Trails End Taproom in Monument is a true gem. You will find a relaxed atmosphere and amazing beer selection. You cannot go wrong with the rotating selection of food trucks along with the in house selection of flatbreads and other snacks. The owner and staff are beyond helpful and friendly-highly recommended!
