It’s always a treat to stop here on the way home after a day in Yosemite National Park. They have great food and an excellent bar selection. Always have the best beers to choose from. The staff are always very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. This property is gorgeous and is worth the stop. When heading home down Highway 120, you won’t come to any other restaurant that’s comparable until you reach Oakdale.

Our experience was very nice however the food quality was quite below the level I would have expected. Chicken wings had very little seasoning and sauce. The two larger wings in the order were raw and cool in Temp. . Our main meal was ok just ok. Presentation was poor and flavor was just average. The food just needed a little bit more attention to flavor, seasoning and presentation. The food quality seemed good and fresh.The restaurant was empty other than another family of four so I don’t understand the issue. Employee’s were very friendly and attentive. The interior was beautifuly rustic and spotless. Pricing was fair and portions were good to above average. I don’t think I’ll be back to the restaurant until I’ve heard some changes have been made.
We had an issue with the check total being changed and reported it it to management. We received a call from Corporate the day after reporting the issue and the issue was addressed to my satisfaction. I don’t know how the employee was delt with but I wanted to make patron’s aware of the issue so they do not become victimized by altered tip amounts on their bills. Stopped in for dinner around 6:30 pm on Friday and had under a 5 minute wait. We tried their Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches with fries. Everything was delicious and although our server was busy, she did a good job. Beautiful resort and nice restaurant.

Good food close to Yosemite Valley. We stopped here on the way back from firefall viewing, and the food was extremely delicious. We started with chicken wings and tomato soup. Both were very delicious. The wings are spicy and come with a side of celery. For the main course we ordered black bean burger(surprisingly delicious), Philly cheese steak and poke. Except poke the rest came with a side of fries and the burger also has pickle. We came in extremely hungry and the portion size was so big that we had leftovers.

We were in Yosemite on a Friday night and everything was crowded with 1 hour+ wait times. Drove out of the valley to this peaceful resort and was given a 10 minute wait. The kids played in the game room while we waited to be seated. The food was better than anything I’ve eaten in Yosemite valley. Portions were fair. My teenage son loved his El Capitan Bison burger and struggled to finish it. You are paying full Yosemite prices, but that’s part of California. Other favorites in the family were the salmon and the fish and chips. We have a celiac/gluten-free in the family and they were able to accommodate our needs.

This place was like an oasis in the desert. Even if the west entrance of Yosemite Park is blocked, it’s very important for me to be able to sit down and have a Guinness beer after the trail.

Delicious food, friendly staff and really great relaxed lodge atmosphere. Portions are pretty big, definitely keep that in mind. My husband and I ordered Caesar salad, Grilled Broccoli and Bolognese to split and had a good amount left over. Wish they had some more healthy options.

For lunch, the restaurant at rush creek is a slightly upscale restaurant serving casual dinner fares.
We ordered the tomato soup, burger, and smoke salmon melt.
The tomato soup was the biggest let down, although I give them credit for making the soup from scratch. Unfortunately, you know the soup is from scratch because it’s not properly blended. Chunks of garlic and big pieces of pepper corn are found throughout out the soup. Especially with the pepper pieces, they are so pungent and strong, you would want to eat the soup around the peppers.
Other than the soup, the burger was ok, a bit over cooked and dry. They never asked us how we would like it cooked though.
The smoked salmon melt could have been a canned tuna melt with no smoky nor salmon flavor.
The star of the meal was actually the fries. Freshly fried, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside.

We were very impressed by the food and service at this restaurant. The menu has a wide selection, including plenty of vegetarian choices. Food is exceptional, and the desserts are even better. Service was impeccable even on a crowded holiday weekend. Will definitely come back to this place next time I visit Yosemite.
