I have been to several amazing Italian restaurants in the Vegas county but this one tops them all! It’s a mom and pop shop and thankfully my friend found it. It’s a really small restaurant but the chef is highly skilled and the service was on point. Here’s what we ordered:

Bread/pesto: complimentary dish – pesto was truly something else and with warm bread, you can’t go wrong.

Margherita pizza: probably one of the best Margherita pizzas we have ever had. The pizza was a bit soggy but the taste was 10/10 and the pizza dough was on point. Not too thin and not too thick.

Eggplant Parm: the BEST eggplant parm in Vegas hands down. The sauce is incredible, the texture of the eggplant is perfect, and the cheese is delicious and crispy. The pasta on the side complemented the parm well and overall it was a well crafted dish.

Linguine Mare Mosso: my friends really enjoyed this dish a lot and their favorite part was the mussels (the best they had!).

Veal francese: my friend said this was the best veal he’s ever had – it was perfectly cooked and seasoning was on point.

Overall, each dish was a hitter and we’re glad to have found this restaurant. We’re definitely coming back here again and again!

Hidden gem, 5 miles away from The Strip, worth the effort to find it. You must have a reservation. They are booked up about 2 months in advance, and have limited table space. Excellent food, and you will take home as much as you eat. And it’s inexpensive, too! My fav… Chicken Los Olivos ❤️
Tip: They do not serve alcohol, but you can bring your own wine and they will provide glasses and uncork it for you!

Found little spot after hitting up Google for “Italian restaurants of the strips near me.” Showed up and quickly got a table for 2. It’s a small spot with 38 seats total among 10 tables. Fairly quick service with the bread and pesto. Ordered calamari and the mozzarella frittata for appetizers. Calamari was cooked perfectly and the marinara sauce packed plenty of flavor. Being a cheese fanatic, I had to get the mozzarella frittata, which is a giant slab of cheese that’s breaded and then fried. It came on a bed of marinara sauce, and went quickly. Mom got the simple fettuccine with alfredo sauce, and it had perfectly cooked noodles and the sauce packed a wallop of flavor for a simple sauce. I got the chicken parmesan with penne noodles on the side. The chicken parm was absolutely perfect and flavorful, and with it a being a small place, the kitchen is right there and knew it was being made because the chef was whacking the hell out of the chicken. The penne was good, but with everything being brought in pretty good size portions filling me up, I didn’t get to eat it.

It’s a small spot, but definitely makes up in the grand scheme of things with it’s flavorful dishes.

My wife and I love this place. Make reservations, place is always full. Mom and Pop shop with a beautiful family. Everything on the menu is delicious. Made fresh. Every time we go we always get something new. They have daily specials. The kids love the left overs we bring home. Great for date night. Just an awesome place to eat. Can’t wait to go back.

This place is definitely a hidden gem, it is very small, but don’t let that fool you. The food was delicious, generous portions allots of flavor. The food is made to order. They skip the butter on the bread and instead the bread is served with a delicious pesto.

I can’t wait for my next visit.

Delicious authentic Italian.

We could tell that their sauces were homemade. The calamari was great, the salads had tastey balsamic. The complimentary breadsticks were also warm and the sauce that came with was great as well. The highlight of the meal was the warm and generous portioned lasagna and the creme brulee.

Despite stuffing ourselves did not feel sick at all because it was real homemade Italian. Great job!

We came and saw you need reservations. Luckily they had space and were kind enough to seat us.

The food, atmosphere and staff were fantastic! Way better than any Italian restaurant I’ve had on the strip and much more affordable.

We had lasagna, caprisi salad, creme brule. Their breadsticks were soft and warm and came with an amazing pesto butter type dipping sauce that was killer.

The price was probably a little higher than usual for most because we added appetizer, salads, entrees and dessert.

Highly recommend!

We came to Los Olivos all the way from Tennessee, and it was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, the food is outstanding with fresh pasta and perfectly balanced flavors, and the service is truly excellent—friendly, professional, and attentive. This place made a lasting impression on us, and from now on, every time we’re in Las Vegas, Los Olivos will be a regular stop. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious! The service was fantastic—just a heads up, reservations are a must! We got there right when it opened, so that probably helped us get seated without one! BYOB is allowed, and it’s definitely a great option. The owners of this family-run spot are so friendly and really cook with passion! The wait is totally worth it for the crab cakes, made with real crab meat (not the fake kind!). The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Be sure to come hungry! I’ll definitely be ordering the lobster ravioli again.
