Today, I visited Sifat Indian Cuisine in Windsor with my family for breakfast. We have tried Amritsari Punjabi kulcha in other cities and places before, but this time we decided to try it here for the first time and we were truly impressed with the food quality.
We ordered Amritsari Punjabi Kulcha, Amritsari Patty Kulcha, and Aloo Paratha. Everyone in the family enjoyed the taste. The aloo paratha was not oily and was served with curd, butter, and pickle. The Amritsari patty kulcha had generous vegetable stuffing, and the Amritsari kulcha had a perfect crunch. The Amritsari chole and chatpati chutney tasted excellent as well.
This is definitely a place we would love to visit again and again. One thing to note is that a little patience is needed, as everything is baked fresh but we didn’t mind at all because we received fresh, hot, and delicious food.

I tried this place first time and my experience was very good. I ordered channa puri, aloo paratha, and doodh patti chai. All were good but if you are from Pakistan then ask for their Amratsari special channa as they are close to our taste and we’re good. Channa puri channa are amratsari style which we don’t like. But overall very good people and food was fresh too. I would definitely recommend them

Hidden Gem in Windsor!!!
Best Amritsari Naan and Paranthe.
Absolutely love this place, don’t get fooled by it’s appearance.
This is my second visit.
The first time I tried their Chhole Bhature and Paranthe which were phenomenal and this time I tried their Amritsari Naan and it blew me away. Hands down best in Canada.
Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto got nothing over this.
The best part is none of the dishes here are overpowered with spices, everything is just perfect and they don’t charge you for extra Chhole like some fancy places.
The Naans were pleasantly flaky.
Reminds me of dining at Pehalwaan Dhaba (original) in Amritsar.
The more I say is less.
100% visit this place once and judge.
The staff is very cordial and helps you choose… Specially Manpreet and Surjit.
Call before you visit to know when their tandoor is working.
I’ll be adding more photos when I visit next time.

Recommend by friend and it was amazing experience If you are looking for freshly prepared food in quite cosy place this is the place amritsary culcha and chole so testy and never had any thing like that before had thali mix veg paratha .. take out they have delicious pickles we ask for that with take out and he happily gave that too, staff is very friendly

I went to the Sifat restaurant and it was a horrid experience! Me and my family were extremely hungry and they told us to wait 40 minutes for our food. We waited hoping that the food is taking 40 minutes for a reason because it’s made fresh but turns out the food was an absolute flaw. We ordered the Shahi Paneer and Amritsari Chole. Apparently the Amritsari Chole are meant to be delicious but what they said was wrong. The chole weren’t appetizing nor delicious. The chole were served with our Amritsari Kulche and usually Kulche are served with white Chole, but they served us black ones and the taste; not very nice. The Shahi Paneer was just straight sugar. I wasted my 100 dollars on this restaurant. Bad.

Great authentic food! The garlic naan is exceptional – you must try it! The pakoras looked great too, though I didn’t try them.
This is a very small place for dine in, and probably won’t work well for large groups. I think there are only 4 or 5 tables, and four people at a table would probably be a little cramped, but it is neat and clean.
The couple who run it are friendly and the food is very well seasoned – I could really taste each seasoning component. It was clearly fresh and hand made.
They didn’t ask me about the spice level, and my Amritsar paneer was hot enough that my wife wouldn’t have liked it, though it worked well for me. If you prefer a mild version I expect they would make one, but you should probably make sure to ask.

5 star. I ordered Amritsari patty kulcha. It was delicious. One thing to mention i ordered kind of last minute not realizing they were closing soon. But still my order was taken care of and made precisely. Staff is sweet and kind. Definitely recommended.
