Food was simply AMAZING!! The place itself could use a little TLC but overall what you expect from a really good eatery. Such variety and the taste is a definite HIT!!

Called, asked if they had chicharones, they acted like they didn’t know what that was. And then hung up. Called back and asked again. The woman on the phone said yes they do have them. Walked into the store. They didn’t have any. Looked like they barely had anything at all.

Placed a to-go order. They said that it would be ready in 15 minutes. Showed up after 25 minutes and they didn’t start on it until we came back. Really poor service. We had heard good things about the place, but I guess they don’t like new customers.
Edited: Tried to eat the food. Asked for flour tortillas and got corn tortillas. Chicken was really dry and very small pieces. Beans were like a gross soup.

If you like hole in the wall experiences and navigating language barriers this is a great place for you. My first of many visits to come was excellent. Ordered the #1 combo (tacos + beans and rice). Salsa was spicy and delicious and the chorizo tacos were yummy. Beans and rice were…beans and rice. I ate everything and left a generous tip since they had to deal with my lack of skills in the Spanish language department.

This is Aiken’s BEST kept secret. The flat top in the back turns out the best authentic cuisine at an affordable price. The tamales are next level when you hear with the house hot sauce. Tip the cooks well, because they earn it.

I went here about a year ago and just got some tacos to go. I remembered liking it then and hadn’t been there in a while so I decided to give them another chance and go again. What a waste of $20. It was disgusting! And the taquitos are just delimex Taquitos that you can buy at the grocery store. The beans were weird and tasted bad, the rice was weird and tasted bad as well. The rice looked like yellow Chinese food rice. More than 50% of my food from here went right into the garbage where it belonged. Do yourself a favor, and go across the parking lot to Diablo’s. Soooo much better.
