I ordered 2 meals online but 2 separate orders as paid with 2 different cards. Ordered and paid AHEAD of time so that I could just pick up the food omw back to work. 1st meal was supposed to be ready at 2:40pm on 9/30 and the second at 2:50pm. Got there at 3pm, told the cashier I had 2 online orders, he said ok, just waiting on the soup. Should be 5 to 8 mins. Then at 3:15 pm he calls my phone, not realizing I’m in the store to tell me they are out of salmon so they can’t make the 2:50pm order….so not only did he not listen to me when I said I had 2 orders, he is also telling me 25 mins after it should have been done. Then he offers to make something else, initially I agreed, but wanted the monetary difference back from the more expensive salmon meal I originally paid for. He says a number of things: Jamminz owners don’t like to refund customers, he is new, he doest know how to do refunds, the price on the menu is wrong and so is the price online, that I’m not looking at the right prices. After demanding a full refund at this point, he instantly refunds my money.
I was the only person in there when this occurred aside from 2 others that came and left before I did. They were not busy, but heavily disorganized. Poor customer service and I was lied to by the male cashier about getting a refund. Not to mention the male cook who continued to gaze at me, told me he was going to give me extra food, gazed at me as I left, then followed me outside to gaze some more and told me to “be safe”. It was very creepy and I got into my car as soon as possible.
Online orders were placed at 2:08pm and 2:38pm. Ample time to be completed prior to my arrival. This place is unprofessional and inappropriate. I will not be attempting to support this small business anymore.

So customer service was not great. When you walk into a small business and no one is in there, I think it’s more than appropriate to greet your customers. Young girl at the counter with the air pods did not speak until I said something. The items I tried to order, she continued to say they were out of …it wasn’t until the cook stepped in and said hey, “I’ll make that for you!”. Several people walked in, ungreeted and decided to leave while I waited for my food. Work on your customer service here. A greeting and some enthusiasm goes a long way!
We ordered sweet chili pineapple salmon and jerk chicken with plantains, mac n cheese, cabbage and yams. The food smelled really good and was hot. The Salmon was delicious. Jerk chicken flavor was great, but it was dryyyyy. A little sauce can fix that. Mac n cheese needed improvement. Cabbage was okay. The plantains and yams were excellent.
I would go back to try something else, but perhaps order over the phone because the customer service was a bit off putting when you are trying to support small business.
