Filipino inspired baked goods! Super yummy. The baked goods are not too sweet. I thoroughly enjoyed the everything bagel donut. It’s slightly sweet and savory. The cornbread bibingka is also a must try. The bitsu-bitsu is spot on, crunchy on the outside and chewy inside.

They have the weekend special buns. Tried one ube and one buko pandan, and the ube coffee cake. Everything was delicious.

It’s a bit heavy on my wallet but got to treat yourself once in a while.

“San & Wolves Glow Up, Dough Up”

[Verse 1]
Yeah, I’ve been down since the pop-up scene,
Long Beach now, you know what I mean.
Once a month I roll through, pastry in my sights,
Sayin’ “just checkin’ in,” but I’m here for bites.

Pandan cinny bun, champorado dream,
Black sesame bun? Yo, that’s the king.
Blueberry bibinki, pinipig chips,
Every single bite got me lickin’ my lips.

[Hook]
San & Wolves, got me hooked on the dough,
Filipino-owned, so you already know.
Menu on lock, still I’m tryna try it all,
Weekend specials got me answerin’ the call.

[Verse 2]
Online order drops, five p.m., Mon–Thurs,
Golden ticket vibes, get mine first.
Street parkin’ easy, thirty feet to the door,
Sprint if I hear “black sesame no more!”

Rockin’ the shirt, crumbs all on my tee,
Lifetime member, that’s loyalty.
From pop-up days to the brick-and-mortar glow,
San & Wolves forever, that’s how it go.

come hither black sesame lovers; the chocolate sesame cake captures everything perfectly with the soft cream’s rich-smoky nuttiness. the chocolate cake base was fluffy but dense, not overly moist, very “i take myself seriously” chocolate and just a pinch stale on the outer ring; still, all the flavours were locked in, quite the master in asian-twist desserts ‍↕️

We went with our friends as we were on a vegan day trip and we were surprised. All of their desserts and baked goods were extremely delicious and moist! Our favorite were the chocolate sesame cake and the ube coffee cake. Highly recommend this place to all vegan bakery lovers!

So sorry as i really wanted to like this small neighborhood from scratch vegan bakery. Blueberry corn bread was my choice out of the 3 purchases I made. The cookie had too much salt on top and had no taste. The Ube cheese pandesal was unremarkable but the bread was fluffy soft and airy and would make a decent sandwich roll.

I’ve been so excited to try this place – and it did not disappoint. For starters, the gentleman at the front was extremely nice and helpful. I waited in line for only two minutes and the whole time he reassured me he would be taking my order shortly and actually refilled the cases while I was looking so I could have as many options as possible. I tried the cinnamon ube roll, valentines sugar cookies, and the strawberry shortcake. Everything was amazing. This is going to be a new regular spot for me. Im so happy to have another vegan option in the community.

This was so good! I arrived at 12:44pm on a Friday and I got the last two slices of the pandan cake but there were still so many interesting goodies that I’m in a food coma now. When you arrive there are stanchions for a line, but at the time I arrived there was no one ahead of me. When you come to the door they buzz you in like a jeweler So that there’s only ever two parties in the tiny little space of the interior. When I spoke to the gentleman behind the counter he said they had been at that location for 6 months and there was a guest in the shop ahead of me, directly behind me, and someone behind them by the time I left. I would not at all be surprised if this expands to an additional location in the near future because I live 40 minutes away and I still think I need to get back there pretty soon. Everything was yummy. Everything. I dare you to bring your meat eater friends these treats and then jump scare them with the whole vegan thing after they’ve gobbled them up because they will. Vegan baked goods is always a swing and a Miss, but this one hits it out of the park with every bite.

Had them on my “When in Long Beach” list but I should have known better! They should be on your, “Must Eat in Long Beach” list! Try it all! These were the cinnamon rolls: Black Sesame, Ube & Pandan. Each were someone’s favorite. The coconut-ish buns and LAUSD coffee cake were great too.

Happy Munchies,
