The hosts are always warm and welcoming, and the pho is consistently phenomenal! We truly miss this place and are looking forward to our next return.
Server is very nice.
Ambience is so relaxing and clean.
I will be back here again and again.
I ordered lemon grass chicken and it’s 10/10
Also ordered pad Thai, noodle is a little bit soggy but it tastes so good.
Blended coffee with tapioca is fantastic ❤️.
Viet’s Taste in Silverdale is an absolute gem. We ordered the Crab Cream Cheese (Banh Cua Chien), Pot Stickers (Banh Xep), Brisket Pho (Pho Nam), and Pad Thai with Chicken (Pad Thai Ga).
A8’s crab cream cheese wontons were creamy-crispy perfection. A9’s pot stickers totally satisfied our 4½-year-old, even after discovering there were no French fries that day. P6? THE BEST brisket pho I’ve had, hands down. Silky broth, tender beef, zero leftovers. N11 was fantastic too—no notes, just noodles vanished. For spice lovers, I ordered 4-star spicy and could have gone hotter, so bring on the heat next time!
Also, do yourself a favor and grab the green tea with simple syrup. Cozy-day, cup-warming goodness.
Service was exquisite. It’s a family business and you can feel the pride in the presentation and the warm, attentive care. I would happily drive an hour and pay the bridge toll to eat here again. Five stars, easy.

6/11/22 – It seems as though we have been eating a lot of Vietnamese food lately; yesterday was no different.
I discovered that a little restaurant in Silverdale Plaza had gone out of business, and this one, Viet’s Taste, emerged!!
This little restaurant holds 30ish people; not super large and overwhelming where your server may forget you exist! And yes, that’s happened!
Viet’s Taste is simple and not overly decorated, which is fine; with the size of their restaurant, too much decoration can create the feeling of being small and cluttered.
We were the first like we are often; I sort of knew what I wanted going in; I thought I would make a little comparison with spring rolls, as M&T cafe really rock it with the spring rolls; unfortunately, that didn’t happen; hubby talked me into getting a regular meal so we could split them, which was fine, I’ll be back for their spring rolls soon enough.
I had a V4, Vermicelli noodles with grilled chicken, and my hubby had S1, Vietnamese Crispy Pancake.
I’ll admit it took a little bit of time for it to come to us, but I’m almost certain (not positive) that they prepared it fresh, which in the grand scheme of things, twenty minutes isn’t horrible at all!
My Vermicelli noodle bowl was pleasant in taste and smell, very fresh, the chicken was tender and flavorful, and the vegetables were crispy, and like a typical vermicelli noodle bowl, everything had its place in the bowl; which included chicken, noodles, bean sprouts, green onion, toasted peanuts, herbs and a sweetened fish sauce on the side. However, I wish it wasn’t so long ago when I had a Vermicelli noodle bowl; I was unable to compare this one to other places, so I had to go by my hubby’s taste; he thought it was good and similar to most that he has had in the past.
His Vietnamese Crispy Pancake was scrumptious, something that I’ve never experienced before, but a lot of flavors were happening with that meal; tucked beautifully in the pancake were sliced pork, shrimp, bean sprouts, onion, and Asian greens, and lime chili fish sauce on the side, and I can’t say for sure, but I think the pancake was made out of rice with seasonings and of course fried. It reminds me of a crepe, not so much in flavor but in looks. As far as drinks go, we both stuck with water!
Our server was friendly, attentive, and helpful!
The restaurant was clean, and the condiments/sauces and menu at the table were not sticky or tacky; that is a little bit of a pet peeve of mine, dirty and sticky menus and condiment bottles!
Neither one of us used the restrooms, so I am unable to voice my opinion on those.
Overall we’ll return!
Viet’s Taste is located in the Silverdale Plaza; 2928 NW Bucklin Hill Road, Silverdale, Washington. Surrounding businesses are Safeway, Joann’s Fabric, UPS, Azteca, Burger King, and more.
There are plenty of parking spaces; even if you are not able to park in front of the business, there are plenty of parking spaces in that plaza!
