I’m vegan, and having restaurants that serve unique dishes means a lot to me.
I ordered the Grits with Sautéed Mushroom, Spinach, and Tomatoes from their Sunrise Tropical Cafe menu. It was delicious! The spinach was sauteed with the stew used in Joloff Rice placed on top of creamy smooth grits, then topped with well seasoned Sautéed Mushroom. Truly outstanding. I highly recommend.

I ordered the oxtail and plantain combo at Sunset Continental Kitchen, and it was excellent. The oxtail was tender, slow-cooked, and full of rich flavor, falling right off the bone. The plantains were perfectly fried—sweet, soft on the inside, and nicely caramelized on the outside. If you’re a fan of hearty, flavorful meals, I definitely recommend trying this place any day.

The gentleman in the back was rather pleasant. I ordered from “Sunset Continental Kitchen” they sold African and Jamaican food. I got the African option, because I was craving some fufu and Egusi. They literally played in my face. It took an hour for it to be ready, and when I got it I immediately knew something was off, there was no food smell. When I got home it was a bowl of spinach, with a piece of regular chicken and a piece of rib or steak in it. There was no signs of African seasoning or even seasoning at all, it was literally bland just big bowl of spinach and chicken and fufu. I spent over $70 and the food was horrible!!!! I will never go back ever or order again….
