The North Fork Boardwalk’s roots run deep in Crawford, with several owners over the course of 100+ years. In 2022, June and John bought the restaurant and are working to make it reflective of the region – featuring local deliciousness from neighboring ranches, orchards, and farms, fostering a friendly community feeling in the dining room and bar, and showcasing local music and artists.
As a full-service restaurant, we serve Sunday Brunch (homemade berry sauce for your French Toast?), lunch daily (try the Reuben), and dinner (Black and Blue Burger and the Italian Beef are pretty popular). We also have vegetarian and gluten-free options.

This was the only restaurant in Crawford that was open till 8 pm for dinner. There’s plenty seating indoor, on the deck and at the bar area. It was open mick that evening. We got the boardwalk black and blue burger with fries and coleslaw along with a couple beers. It was delicious! We got the Apple strudel to go, yumm.

We were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was! We loved our Black and Blue burger, french fries, cheeseburger, mushrooms, jalapeño popper bites, and beverages. The service was great and there’s seating indoor and outdoor. Really great place to stop when in the area!

My wife says best chicken tenders she has ever had in her life!! We stayed in this cute little town of Crawford, Colorado and there is literally only one restaurant and one coffee shop lol.
@North Fork Boardwalk has it going on!!!!! My daughter ordered the chicken tenders with hand cut French fries and it was sooooooo good!!! It was more like fish and chips batter and so so good! So crispy and you can tell it was made with lots of love. The French fries were random cuts of potatoes and I just loved them.
Everything we had was super good and the owner/chef/server had some training in Italy and you can tell she loves food and cares about the ones that eat it. She also featured vegan and gluten friendly options.
Also while your in this town visit Needle Rock a formation that stands 80 stories tall.

We had no expectations when came in and unexpectedly this place is amazing! Jam which was served with cheesecake was exactly so similar to one that my grandma was making for years. And french fries are delicious although I usually don’t eat it. Fair prices, super friendly stuff, our server was nice and attentive. Highly recommend if you’ll be in the area!

After having high hopes this restaurant needs some help!
Husband ordered the turkey submarine .. it came without tomato, and what appeared to be day old roll and had Italian dressing on it!
The slaw has sugar mixed in it so, the side salad was his second option.
I ordered half ham and Swiss on marble rye toast and a cup of black bean soup. My meal was tasty but very disappointed with my husband’s lunch.
We waited for 20 minutes before the wait staff came to tell us that the burgers are thawing .. we didn’t order burgers!

Good food, unfortunately my burger was overcooked. I ordered it medium and it was served well done. When I mentioned it to Ida Mae she didn’t even offer to take it back and have it remade although she did agree that the cook was wrong on it.
Chicago-style Italian beef sandwich was more of what I would consider a ‘French dip.” It was good, just not comparable to Portillo’s like June said it was.
We went back for “linner” because breakfast was good.
The frosting on the pecan roll was to die for! Overall, good food, friendly folks, definitely worth a stop!

Love coming here for Sunday brunch (it’s actually breakfast but they go all morning until I think 1pm maybe and we usually come by close to 11am, so we call it brunch). It’s very cozy and homey. The coffee is really good and strong, honey is available. The food is open buffet, so self serve. Staff is very friendly and casual, you feel at home with an aunt or grandma – I love this.

So good we came two nights in a row. The desserts and the service are the real stars here. All the servers were just lovely. My 15 year old said they were the best chicken tenders he’s ever had. Potato dippers were tasty. They have specials, one night was a taco bar and one night giant burritos. Burrito was great.
