My friend and I stopped by Ensora after a long day of ice skating, we were really impressed — they truly specialize in matcha and it shows. My friend ordered the strawberry matcha and loved how balanced and refreshing it was, and I went with the Jasmine Cloud, which was smooth, fragrant, and absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality in every sip. It is a little on the pricier side, but the craftsmanship and flavor make it worth it for a treat. The shop has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and it’s definitely a place we’ll be returning to — hopefully next time to try their desserts!

Ensora has been a wonderful addition to the Cherry Hill area and their high quality coffee and matcha drinks has been bringing me back again and again. I loved their sandwiches (sandos), especially the konbini egg sando which was light and refreshing. It’s the little details that matters in things like this for me as a home baker, ans I really appreciated the quality of the milk bread used here which is sliced differently depending on what sando you order. The sandos paired great with the strawberry matcha latte which was flavorful without being overly sweet. The matcha might be strong for some but that’s exactly what I’m paying for.

For dessert, the pandan custard filled taiyaki was delicious! Simultaneously crispy and chewy with a delicious pandan filling, it’s something you have to try. I’ve only tried the ube ice cream so far and I do like it better than the Magnolia brand. It’s not too sweet and still tastes like ube should.

✨New Asian Specialty Dessert/Drink Café Has Opened✨

Ensōra has recently opened in the Barclays Farm Shopping Center in Cherry Hill, NJ!

Offering a wide variety of unique treats and drinks, this spot transports you directly to Asia without a flight! The amount of love and detail put into this café is evident, and the owners Michele and Dar were so kind and welcoming!

Ensōra is a combination of two Japanese words: “enso,” meaning “circle” to represent unity, and “sora” meaning “sky.” The name encapsulates the universe and is a symbol of strength. Their mascot is of their sweet pup Russell and is proudly displayed throughout their café/logo! This is perfect location for a snack and if you want to get some work/studying done!

We really enjoyed everything we tried, but my absolute favorites were the strawberry matcha latte and the bolo bao breakfast sandwich. Using ceremonial grade matcha directly from Japan and house-made strawberry syrup, this latte was made with lots of care and was so delicious! I also loved the modern take on the bolo bao breakfast sandwich. The crispy and sweet cookie crust was the perfect complement for their house-made sausage patty, fried egg, veggies, and spicy mayo. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Be sure to follow them at @ensoranj on instagram ✨ Hope you get to check them out soon!

this is one of theeeee best matcha places i’ve been to and ive genuinely tried everything in the nj/pa/ny area. the matcha latte quality is amazing and the price is right, being great value (esp compared to many of the other places who are not so generous). the soft serve was delicious and milky, and the sprinkles+mochi on top hit the spot! my friend also got the tayaki and said it was very yummy. the interior is nice and cozy, and the service was smooth, the woman at the counter was very kind and helpful. it was definitely a great experience considering the place just recently opened up! also, i definitely hope to see a little more expansion, possibly with more flavors and syrup options 🙂 (maybe like a lavender, rose, coconut, etc) or more topping/ice cream variety?) however ensora has a pretty good selection so far. i’m excited to come back and hope to see this adorable place get the recognition it deserves.

Clean and cute inside. Single gender neutral restroom in the back.

Excited to have a taiyaki space nearby. Matcha ice cream is nice and creamy. Hojicha is nice, not too sweet but very aromatic.

Taiyaki is okay. Feel like there could be more filling in the taiyaki. Second time I had taiyaki was better. Outside had a better crisp texture. I like that the write/label them on the boxes.

Ube soft serve isn’t as good as matcha. My friend said if he was blindfolded, he probably wouldn’t be able to tell it was ube.

Strawberry cheesecake soft serve, friend said it tastes like birthday cake.

Bolo bao breakfast is good. Was thinking it was going to just be a legit pineapple bread cut in half but it was a proper bun with their own sugar egg wash crust. It might adhere better to the bun if it’s scored a little.

Kurogama Latte with hojicha was quite light. Mostly milk flavor shone through. Maybe it’s better with espresso.

Matcha cloud latte was alright. Also very light. Think that’s the point of proper matcha like this but maybe I shouldn’t have gotten it cold as temperature is probably fulling the flavor a bit.

(hot) Pandan latte with matcha base is pretty good. Too light for my friend, but I really like it.

I came here because my sister recommended this spot, and it turned out to be such a great place to chat, eat, and drink! The BBB sandwich was so delicious The bread had a hint of sweetness, and the patty was perfectly juicy.
I can’t wait to come back to try more of their food, snacks, and drinks. I’m especially excited to try their matcha powder next time!

I’m always excited to find unique and new Japanese places near me. Though I did drive an hour to get here, it’s a great spot for a snack or breakfast before hitting the mall.
I got the Miso Caramel Latte iced, the Classic sando, and three taiyaki- custard, nutella and cheese.
Everything was good! The taiyaki was warm and chewy, the sandwich was savory with sweet flavors from the milk bread and tomato. The latte was pretty good too.
I loved the atmosphere of this cafe too. It’s small but with cute decorations dedicated to the cafe’s namesake— Ensōra, a corgi.
I will definitely return. Hopefully they stay here a long time!

Found this matcha spot on TikTok and it’s one of the best matcha lattes i’ve had. They’re super creative with their drinks and add ons. Their taiyaki is also super good. Customer service was really good as well and she was very sweet! I’d totally recommend this spot to any matcha lover.

An excellent asian cafe specializing in Taiyaki desserts! For those unfamiliar with this dessert is like a pancake in the shape of a fish but with filling and a crisp outer layer. This cafe sells taiyaki with a different twist offering mochi or “croyaki” (I believe a croissant version).
Personally I much prefer the mochi taiyaki, the fresh warm chewy soft yet fluffy texture combined with filling left me wanting for more! The croyaki didn’t impress me but those who like crispy desserts should definitely try this one out.
I noticed their mochi Taiyakis are made to order and best consumed on the spot. I’ve tried bringing some back and reheating that night using an air fryer but it definitely was not as tasty as while we were at the store. 🙁
I also tried one of their signature drinks, Kurogama Latte, a black sesame flavored drink that can be made with espresso, roasted green tea(Hojicha), or Matcha. I chose espresso (thinking it would be the best option cus’ “latte”) however the sesame flavor isn’t that strong, possibly overwhelmed by the espresso flavor. Latte itself was great I love my coffee strong! After reading another review on here that got this drink mixed with Hojicha they also said that the sesame flavor was very weak. Maybe this drink can be improved somehow by adding more sesame to the recipe or not suitable to be mixed with such strong flavors such as espresso.
Customer service is 10/10, the employees saw that my so and I enjoyed the food here so much and on our 3rd order of Taiyaki they gave one out on the house.
To anyone in the area this is a great spot for a little pick me up in between the day or a post dinner dessert!!

Small cafe with delicious food. The taiyaki (fish shaped, stuffed pancakes) with red bean paste was sooooo good! My wife had hers with vanilla cream filling, which she said was delicious. The egg salad sandwhich tasted like we were eating at a small place in Tokyo. BTW, the owners have taken multiple tasting trips to Japan to make sure that their recipes are authentic.
