We happened upon The Federal before DSO at the War Memorial Auditorium. We thoroughly enjoyed our quick bite and cocktail before the show. It is set up with windows to view the ice arena and courts outside from the inside tables. We ordered a few snacks. The buffalo dip was good, the chicken sliders were a win and chicken tenders and truffle fries were delicious. Our only dip in the review was because we actually changed our order from sliders to tenders but ended up with both. Don’t worry, we did enjoy them… so nothing wasted but it was confusion in communication. We also waited quite a bit to order so that was the reason for the 4 instead of a 5 star rating. We enjoyed our visit and it was a perfect stop before the show.

I really wanted to give it 5 stars because I love this place for many reasons: the location, the fact that I can finish my workout or go skating and eat here, or watch an ice jockey game with their incredible $10 Wednesday burgers.
But I had an issue this time — I ordered the bibimbap bowl and it was extremely spicy. It was so spicy that my friend had to pack hers to go and order something else.
Please make it less spicy!!!
Other than that, I love this place, the food, and the service. I’ll definitely keep choosing it. Thank you!

It was great. My husband and I were surprised to see ice skating and hockey practice inside the iceplex. Overall, it was an exciting experience along with great service and cuisine! Smoked fish and ribs were excellent!We highly recommend!

Went to lunch post-work to celebrate the US hockey gold win and get a personal patch on a jersey. Food was great as usual. Had a perfectly mixed margarita for National Margarita Day courtesy of our server (and bartender) Tyler Bo.. (an absolute pleasure sir ). Was a great way to start my weekend! Ty FTL fam.

Such a gem! Located inside the Holiday Park ice skating rink! So cool for Florida Panthers Game nights or for pickle ballers after a match! Great bar bites and healthy snacks too! Our server was lovely!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the new restaurant inside the hockey arena, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! The restaurant offers stunning views of the ice and pickle ball courts, creating a lively and unique ambiance. Despite being in a sportsplex, the food was anything but typical concessions fare—it was elevated and truly delicious. I came with a group of friends, so I was able to get pics of a ton of their offerings. They were super accommodating to our large party. Service was warm and friendly- it felt like we were in their home!
The drink selection was equally impressive, with a variety of amazing options to choose from. What really impressed me was the abundance of TVs throughout the restaurant, making it the perfect spot to catch a game. However, even if you’re not a sports fan, this place is still worth a visit for its fantastic food, drinks, and atmosphere. I highly recommend checking it out!

Hockey rink, if you don’t like that then the atmosphere is gonna suck. Made me feel at home and everyone that worked there was fantastic. Kinda need to be there for a reason and if you are then you need to be at The Federal

We had our IIABC private event today at the Federal. We had the Old Fashioned workshop. It was AMAZING!!! The bartenders, service and food was off the chain.

We went to The Federal during a Panthers game, it was packed. Props to our server for getting all of our orders right without writing anything down and keeping our cups filled amongst the crowds of people.
3/5 stars for the food. The Lobster roll, was yummy but low on aioli so I asked for a side of habenero and it stepped it up. The fries were nice and crispy.
The Spinach dip was not good at all- my friends left half of the dip and couldn’t finish it. They said it was edible but not good. No cheese pull, tasted like cream cheese was blended with spinach, but it was bitter.
Jerk chicken sandwich- looks like a grilled chicken sandwich no “jerk” coloring. I would compare it to a grilled McChicken, a lot of mayo. Not spicy or “Jerk”
Wagyu burger- for the price a bit too much, it was good but not something I would go back and order. It did not taste like quality Wagyu. Overall we felt
Like the food was overpriced for the quality.
I ordered a side salad but never got it, I feel like this worked out for the best, something tells me the dressing would have been store bought rather than homemade.
Atmosphere was great to watch the game but several people at our table complained about how hot it was inside the restaurant.
