Hands down the best fried fish and hush puppies I’ve had. My daughter said their lemon pepper wings are 10 out of 10. Great portions and everything was hot and fresh. Different variety of pound cakes. melts in your mouth. Good customer service. Definitely will be back again to try more on their menu.

Ordered the wing combo with fries. The fries are breaded and they’re good but, I’m not a big fan of breaded fries. The wings…so good. They are very crispy. I got them plain and they are seasoned well. The Texas toast paired well with the wings. They were made to order but the wait wasn’t very long. The owner is a really nice guy. These are the places I love finding. I can’t wait to go back and try the catfish. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out.

We went to order 4 pieces of catfish, and three shrimp. It took over an hour for us to receive our food. I understand that they may have been busy but I saw my cousin there as well and he stated he had been waiting 45 minutes for a catfish basket that had 2 pieces of fish. The wait is HORRENDOUS! Not only that, as I’m waiting, I see a live roach on the lemon pepper sauce bottle. It was a bad experience for me and I won’t be back.

I had the 6pc shrimp and 1 catfish combo. It was $14.99 and was VERY good! I saw a review on TikTok and had to go. Everything was seasoned very well—yes, even the fries. It is inside the gas station, in case you have trouble finding it. They’ve gotten popular so expect a wait. Oh! And get one of their pound cakes, too, for $5. I got the butter pecan and I wish I would’ve gotten more!

It was mid, ordered the 2 fish 3 shrimp combo, red beans and rice and a peach cobbler cake. Waited 51 mins for the food, saw 2 people that ordered after me get their food before me. Owner was very friendly with everyone, handing them their food, asking them to check it…except me. Handed me the food and said here.
No biggie, they got posted on tiktok and have more business. I get that, but seeing others get food when they ordered after you doesn’t seem right. Being told 25 to 30 mins and waiting 51 also doesn’t seem right.
To top it off though, I got home and noticed there were no shrimp. Same thing happened to the guy that was getting his order when I was placing mine, he left and came right back in because they were missing. Guess I should have checked my order before leaving.
The fries also had no seasoning on them….like at all. I also ordered lemon pepper seasoning, didn’t taste it at all on the fish and well, there were no shrimp so no idea if it was on them or not.
I tried to call but, they don’t take calls, just an automated system that allows you to text them. It’s been 3 hours since I text and no response. For $30, was not worth it, especially when I didn’t get what I ordered and can’t get a reply. Will not be going back.

The banana pudding cake was so moist and good to me! If I’m in the area I will definitely stop by again. If your looking for a home made dessert check them out. They are located inside the C Store.

Listen! DO NOT LET THE FACT THAT THIS PLACE IS IN SOME RANDOM CORNER STORE FOOL YOU! This place is the business! That woman is cooking and one day I hope, if she and her family desires, that she can open up her own stand alone business. It literally is the fish your grandma and momma used to make! It is fried crisp and does not use a ton of salt to mask the fact the chef can’t cook! I hate they didn’t have greens today but I ain’t mad! Oh, them hushpuppies are not from a bag. Those are fresh for love for real. I’m coming back and bringing my momma, daddy, friends, enemies and anyone else that I can drag along. I just happened to find this business, as the place I used to like changed to swai, and I didn’t want to go across town for real catfish. I am so happy I drug my sister with me. It really, really, was good, and I don’t say this because I have been eating my own food for a week because of snow. Lol lastly, you know the food is truly good when even kids on the next table tell you it’s 10 out of 10! I trusted the kids cause they will tell you the truth and this is one time I’m glad I did!!!

This was my first time coming here. And let me tell you. GREAT food. Excellent customer service. I ordered the honey garlic wings. And they were amazing. I definitely will be coming back. They have so many options for wet wings, dry wings, burgers, collard greens, red beans, and rice. And the most amazing pound cake.

Amazing food amazing flavor. But it’s true good flavor takes time. If you love fried fish and hush puppies. I highly recommend this place. Just be for warned. I have had a side missing a couple times. But I usually don’t sweat it. Love coming in for great meal
