I decided to visit Nana D’s in Decatur, Arkansas after being invited to come out. When I arrived, there was no greeting at the front, so I seated myself. I waited roughly 8–10 minutes before anyone came out to acknowledge me or offer a menu, which was concerning.
I came specifically for the advertised $8.99 cheeseburger basket special. My server, Joni, let me know they were still transitioning from breakfast but checked with the kitchen and confirmed they could make the burger. When she returned to take my drink order, I ordered a Diet Coke but was told they were out and could only offer a Diet Dr Pepper due to delivery issues. Being out of several items during lunch hours was disappointing.
The cheeseburger basket arrived after a short wait. While the burger itself looked good—fresh vegetables and what appeared to be a hand-pattied burger—the portion size was much smaller than expected, closer to a slider. The tater tots were decent. I was also surprised to learn the regular price of the basket is $10.99, which felt high for the portion received.
The menu is very limited, with few choices available. I also noticed condiment bottles on the table appeared dirty and not well maintained. Staff spent most of their time in the kitchen, and my drink was never refilled. Once finished, I had to wait at the counter briefly to check out.
After adding extra tater tots, my total came to $16, which felt expensive even with the lunch special. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. While there were some positives with food freshness, the service, cleanliness, and value did not meet expectations. I’m unsure if I would return.

Very, very good! Stopped in by chance and we were impressed. Burgers and fries were perfect and I look forward to trying the other items on the menu. The other dishes customers had looked great and NOT small portions. Especially the chefs salad. Worth the trip for their fries! I’m excited for them because I believe they are new.

My family and I ate here and it was disappointing. The food and service was good but the prices on the menu dont reflect what you end up paying for. We ate here on a Monday and at the time the special was open faced roast beef sandwich. The menu showed a price of 11.99 but they charged us 15.99. Most likely won’t eat here again because of that. Its too easy to print off new menus or change the price on the menu. Truthfulness was not there and if they just get to change the price to whatever they want when the menu shows a different price those are not people I want to give my money to.

Came out to try a new restaurant in the area. I ordered the double cheeseburger with tots and absolutely loved it. Service was prompt and very friendly. The only drawback (which isn’t a problem to me) is that you can hear the kitchen operating depending on where you sit in the restaurant. Overall, very good food and service, would recommend!!

Went to try this place since I know one of the chefs there from monkey island so the food is going to be great burgers and fries we had were amazing wait time was not terrible I do recommend this place if you haven’t tried it yet.

Had the mushroom and Swiss with fries. Both were excellent. Was waited on and received order in a very timely manor.

I see their vision! I know they are new so we will be coming back after the new year to see if things have changed! AS OF NOW… Food came out cold, coffee tasted old & stale, and our waitress wasn’t very friendly. I believe they have a good idea just need to work out the kinks!
