I just had my salons holiday party here and I still am in such awe of this place! From the second I walked in I was greeted with open arms by Michelle and her staff. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD, and the service was excellent from beginning to end. Highly recommend for any occasion. And a huge shout out to Vanessa for the amazing decor !

Genuinely, everything a neighborhood Italian place should be. The food is incredible and the service is right there to match. Prices are really affordable as well. Stand outs were the carpaccio and the Gorgonzola gnocchi special. Best gnocchi I’ve had in recent memory too. What a spot!! Can’t wait to come back!

One of the most fantastic dining experiences we’ve had in a very long time. We were welcomed in and treated like family from start to finish. The restaurant is very cozy and intimate which adds to its unique charm. The food was absolutely delicious and authentically Italian. They are BYOB so make sure you grab a bottle of your favorite wine before you arrive. If you forget, there is a convenient store two blocks away. Make this a stop when you are in Philly and you will feel lucky to have experienced such a wonderful and fantastic restaurant. We will be back for sure !!!!!

What a gem. My husband and I love the warm and chill (though festive) atmosphere here for a cozy dinner. Michelle went all out to spontaneously set up a table for us while attending to a large party of diners. She lavished us with attention and good hearty food, followed by spectacular traditional desserts. Always a delight.

The 3 of us enjoyed the special, multi-course $40 per person dinner menu offered during the Bella Vista/Queen Village restaurant week promotion. The meal included an appetizer, main course and dessert. Everything was freshly prepared in the open kitchen and beautifully presented. Our group enjoyed salmon, pappardelle, and pasta carbonara for the main course.The Chef’s Choice dessert of lemon chiffon pie with whipped cream was scrumptious. The restaurant is cash or venmo payment only, and you can eat in or call for pick up. We were greeted and served graciously by the owner and head chef. You can call or make your reservations online. This cozy neighborhood restaurant has been here more than a decade and is a hidden Philly gem.

Fabulous dinner satirday night, the vela chop Milanese was excellent. I’ve been to Milan many of times and it’s a staple dish in Italy. We also enjoyed the carpaccio Angelina and yellowfin tuna carpaccio was fabulous. Thank you again for a memorable evening we will be back soon.

The chicken cheesesteak was off the hook — it reminded me of Ishkabibbles on South Street back in the day. The Honey Roney pepperoni pizza was great as well. I can’t say enough about Angelina’s… I’ll definitely be back for more.
