Came on a Friday night and they had no karaoke… They have karaoke on their sign… Yet when we came, they didn’t have it? They just handed us the mic and said sing along with the radio?????
My friend waited 20 minutes for a drink, even though the bar was pretty empty because they only had one person working. I don’t know what the heck happened here, but… yikes. This was a pretty severe bait and switch And just plain poor service too.

The story behind Ultralounge West is something people should be aware of before supporting this place.
This building sat completely empty for roughly two years. Then a management team came in and did the hard work of turning it into a busy restaurant and bar with live music. They built the crowd, created the atmosphere, and brought life back into a property that had been dead for a long time.
I personally watched how much effort went into building this place up. Long hours, constant work, and a lot of energy went into creating something people actually wanted to come to.
Unfortunately, from what I observed, once the place started becoming successful the situation changed in a way that didn’t look fair to the people who built it. Instead of supporting the team that created the success, it appeared the owner stepped in and undercut the very people responsible for making the business thrive.
Watching the people who put in the real work get pushed aside once the venue was finally doing well was extremely disappointing. It gave the impression that the contributions of the people who built the place didn’t matter once the building was making money again.
The whole situation left a bad impression of how things are handled behind the scenes. When a business grows because of the hard work of a team, those people deserve respect and fair treatment—not to feel like they’re being taken advantage of.
If you’re thinking about working with, performing at, or supporting Ultralounge West, it’s worth paying attention to how the people who helped build the venue were treated once it started succeeding. Situations like that say a lot about the leadership behind a business.

I had high hopes for Ultra West and really enjoyed (and impressed with) the direction the venue was heading over the past few months under the leadership of acting managers, Chris and Missy. During that time, there was noticeable improvement in the atmosphere, organization, activity, and overall experience for guests. It felt like the place was finally gaining momentum and building something positive, and enjoyable with variety.
Unfortunately, their sudden removal has been incredibly disappointing. From an outsider’s perspective, it raises serious concerns about leadership and the ethics behind how decisions are being made. When individuals who are clearly contributing to success are removed without transparency, it leaves loyal patrons and supporters questioning the stability and integrity of the business.
Ultra West has so much potential, but strong, ethical leadership matters. I hope the ownership reflects on the impact of these decisions because many were genuinely excited about the direction Chris and Missy were taking the venue.
Personally, I will not support this establishment nor will I recommend this establishment if changes and processes are not addressed.

I loved going to the ultra lounge west Chris and Missy were the best I loved hugging out with them . They always had great bands great food the atmosphere was great. Then I found out it has came to a end I’m so disappointed to hear this. If Chris and Missy are no longer going to be running it anymore I will not be returning to the ultra lounge west anymore it will not be the same with out Chris and Missy running it.

The owner had brought partners on board to help with his issues with not having enough business. They were doing a great job and we had really enjoyed ourselves while attending these events. For my understanding, the owner is now severing ties with them and is trying to take all of the entertainment and business that they had brought to him without compensation. I will never ever patronize this venue again at the owner is absolutely ridiculous and actually told one of the partners that he didn’t like to deal with women. A cultural discrimination issue. I do not recommend attending this venue.
