Reviews
For our mains we went for the Ribeye and the Chicken. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and just tasted divine.
The service was really good and attentive which we really appreciated. The actual vibe and feel of the restaurant is also very pleasant giving ample space between tables so you don’t feel like you’ve been crammed into a small space. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a lovely meal.
The restaurant brings serving lunch promptly at 12 PM each day, but not before, so be aware of this when making plans. The dining space is very beautiful, and has a large occupancy. I can’t see it being challenging to get a reservation here but maybe on the weekends and dinner time it could be busy.
We had the Angel’s Envy Bourbon small batch made for the Helios Hotel, mixed into a whiskey sour, but I wish we just had it over ice. The cocktail was a bit imbalanced, but I understand that we did order this at noon on the dot, and their bar was probably just starting.
The fried seafood appetizer (I forget the name) was very good and the dip provided with it made the dish. I would recommend.
The wagyu and lamb burgers were both very good burgers, but I suggest adding extra herb mayo (or asking for the dip they serve with the fried calamari / shrimp / seafood appetizer) to make it more flavorful and to dip the fries, which are thick steak cut fries. The price of the was high, even for a resort hotel.
Overall I’d rather go to the Golden Dragon over Flora Taverna, but it was a solid restaurant that I’d try again in the future.
My wife had the lamb burger, and I had the traditional winter casserole—both were delicious. Overall, it was a gem of an experience, and we would gladly return.
Fries are very good.
The chicken gyro spices threw me off a bit.
The tzatziki was lovely. Not very strong, but nice.
The bread basket to start is dangerously good!
Adorable ketchup and mayo bottles.
Phenomenal service from Joshua. Bravo!
Lovely atmosphere.
After several days of eating park food it was a delight to eat real food.
We enjoyed our time here for sure!
If you’re into interior designs… you’ll be loosing your sight towards many details. From floor tiles, to the hot station decor, artisan plates and ceiling flowers…. Everything is awesome.
Back to the food… I’ve always said that quality ingredients is the key… plus the pro chefs at Flora Taverna make the experience complete.
