They were very accommodating and made me a vegetarian roll. I gave them an extra star for that. The vegetables were very fresh. It was a very typical roll you’d find in any sushi restaurant. I really didn’t like the cocktail at all. The restaurant exists in a cramped partition of the Warren. Not swanky. The barn door they used as decor was leaning against my back as I sat at the table. If you like the Warren, you probably will like this place. They are the same restaurant. If I had known this, I wouldn’t have come. It is owned by the same person and you walk through the Warren to get inside. The food is similar too. I really don’t like the Warren at all though. Both are pretty average

The worst service we’ve ever had. For requests we did, waitress kept saying “No”. In places we were before, they were make sure that all customers feel comfortable. But here no attention for customers. And we felt a little bit racism kinda from waitress or something like that because she definitely didn’t like us. But the food was really good. We would visit this place again, but because of service , no.

My wife and I stumbled into this spot before a show at the Benedum and were pleasantly surprised. The cozy quarters and small tables can make you forget you’re in Pittsburgh. The Hanami sour was fantastic. The char ok the panko chicken sandwich brought an extra level of crunch to complement the perfectly tender chicken. The Philly roll was a great balance for my wife!
