I was in town on business from Houston, TX and decided to try this place for lunch since it had a 4.7 rating. The wait staff were funny and sassy, which made the dining experience more pleasurable. The taco salad that I had was just the right size for what I needed and I ate every bite. I’m sure I’ll come back before I head back to Houston in a few days.

The wait was long, but it was worth it, and they were super busy. Everything was great except the hashbrowns were a little cold. I’m pretty sure they were sitting on the grill, so I’m not quite sure how they got cold, but they were. I would recommend they’re breakfast for sure.

We were traveling through town stopped for gas and ask about some place to eat. They said another place. We saw Carols and turned our travel trailer around. I’m so glad we did. Very cute inside, friendly staff, very clean and open. Restrooms clean. They were a little slow on service.they were busy. Food fast. Very dellicious. My husband had breskgast. The table was covered with plates. I had soup of the day and grilled cheese with fries. Fantastic. Wish we could go again.

So for a number of weeks, I’ve driven past this little restaurant, always seeing a full parking lot. My wife drove by it a few times, and thought the same thing. Well, we decided to make a trip and a trip was totally worth it. The food is fresh, the service is amazing, and it just makes you feel like you’re right at home. They were also super attentive to my children, which is a great quality in your wait staff.
I could see the servers constantly cleaning, and can tell you that this is a very clean place. It’s also a very big place for being a small little restaurant, they have a lot of seating, and can accommodate larger groups.
As far as the food, they had a great menu of selections. The pancakes were as big as a plate, and the sausage gravy I got was amazing. I had a side of sausage come out, and it wasn’t your typical round, frozen, manufactured, sausage patty. it looks like it was handmade. Everything tasted amazing.

I placed a to go order for me, and my friend. It took awhile as warned. I was okay with that. The food was worth the wait. I will be coming back to eat here in the future. The lady’s who work here are very nice, amd accommodating. Each on made sure I was served.

The food was ok and the service a little slow. Chicken fried steak tasted a little “gamey” which was different. Overall, was ok. I would probably try a different restaurant if we were staying another night. But it filled us up.
