Lived here almost 10 years and today was the first time I’ve ever ordered from this place. I have been to every Mexican restaurant in an 8 miles radius… this place is better than all of them. Its the top 3 steak burritos I’ve had as well in my life and I’ve been to Juarez and New Mexico where it can’t get any better. I will for sure be back again.

Tacos were incredible, they had all the toppings, even pineapple which isn’t common. The waiter was helpful and patient. Absolutely worth it.
Very very well priced too!
⚠️Theyre cash only but will accept Zelle for payment⚠️

Great place, very authentic but hard to navigate on your first visit. So basically you order how ever many tacos you want (I’d say at least 3). They come with a tortilla and meat only. Your server will bring a tray to the table with onions, cilantro, limes, pineapple, and hot sauces to dress your tacos how you want them. I opted to get a burrito instead of tacos and it was huge (and delicious). Definitely worth the price. I have no idea how much drinks cost because it’s not on the menu but I paid $2 for a bottle of water (no tap water). Pay in cash only.

Came in for a quick lunch, thought a couple of tacos would be just the ticket. Truly terrible. We ordered 2 carnitas, 2 chicken. Both were so, so overcooked and tough that they wasn’t worth eating. Served totally plain, which we knew when ordering, but salsa was out of a bottle, very poor. Cilantro and onions and pineapple in a cup. Pineapple did not look fresh. We ordered water and they charged $2 a bottle for warm water. Cash only Really would have liked to give them a good review but that would not be the truth.

I just paid $17 for a bean and rice burrito, the beans were black beans so I am not sure if they were from the can or not because there was more rice than anything.

We went on a Tuesday night at 9. We were the only patrons at first. The kids in the group were weary of ordering from the slightly off color pictures in the menu, but when the first round of tacos came out they were asking the waiter to keep them coming. The steak tacos were by far the favorite of the night. By the time we were leaving, many of the tables were full with patrons. If you like more authentic Mexican food, this is a must visit. We will certainly be stopping by again.
One thing to note is that this is a Cash only establishment, however, there is a gas station next door with an ATM ($3 fee).

Very slow service. Had to use a translator app to order food. 2 of us eating, had to remind our server about food we didn’t receive. They apparently didn’t understand that two people wanted two orders of food. Never received the second order, ended up just closing the tab and leaving. Very very large language barrier. Better off going to the McDonald’s down the road. There was also someone who seemed to be heavily intoxicated and kept yelling and screaming. Either an employee or a friend of the restaurant. Kept pushing chairs and screaming. Very unprofessional.

We’re from Minneapolis, where East Lake Street has some of the best Mexican food in the Midwest. And for a second I thought I was at my favorite place eating tacos. They being all the fixings for your tacos out to the table. Huge fan, will be back.

We biked over to Cabritos Mexican Restaurant from our Airbnb. They are cash only so we weren’t sure but did end up having enough cash to eat there. The food was good. The service was good.
