I’ve been coming to Sarku for years. It has always been my favorite teriyaki place in the Lynnwood area. They used to fill their to go box’s so full you couldn’t close it and for the price was unbeatable. Then they made their box’s smaller. They stilled filled it but it was less for the same price. Just went to today, and they have cut back even more and it’s still the same price. They put barely any rice, not enough chicken, and a few pieces of shrimp. Just lost a long term customer. Fix your serving sizes.

Ordered the chicken teriyaki (double meat) and it was inedible. Rubbery, fatty pieces pawned off as chicken and no flavor in the teriyaki sauce. Had to ask for soy sauce to try to salvage the $15 meal. Still couldn’t finish half of it. Lesson learned.

I live close to the mall and off the bus line, so I’ll stop by to get a chicken bento box. It’s a good price for pretty good food. This time, however, I don’t know if I’ll come back, though. The cashier is rude and pretty turned me away since it was early (11am). Then I saw him be perfectly friendly to another customer after me, who seemed to be able to order. I decided to go somewhere else – got great service there!

I need this place almost every time I come to the Alderwood food court because I can get stirfry vegetables with some teriyaki sauce, and either fry or steamed rice or noodles.
It’s a really good price for veggies and rice or noodles, and they always prepare it fresh and it comes out steaming hot every time . Really good price to so I recommend this place if you’re coming to the Food Court
