Stopped by to check out the food trucks for lunch and I’m so glad we did! We ordered the OG Philly and it was incredible—great flavor and amazing bread. As the owner said, “it all starts with the bread,” and he was absolutely right. It held together perfectly and tasted so fresh.
The owner was extremely kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The homemade potato chips were delicious with the perfect crispiness. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

Words cannot describe how amazing Uncle Sammy’s is, I’ve been back multiple times now and I’ve never been let down. Not only is every Sammy(and sally) delicious but the service is outstanding, every interaction I’ve had with any of the staff has been wonderful. If you are ever in the Junction city/Eugene area don’t hesitate to come to Uncle Sammy’s, it will 100% be worth your time

I was raised just outside of Philadelphia, so I’ve got high standards when it comes to Italian subs—and let me tell you, Uncle Sammy’s absolutely nailed it. The Italian sub, paired with their homemade chips, tasted just like home. The ingredients were super fresh, the bread was perfect, and every bite brought me back.

We recently enjoyed a company lunch at a food truck, and everyone at my workplace was thoroughly impressed by the homemade chips, tater tots, and Philly cheesesteak sandwich. But it gets even better! Wow, wow, wow! Having lived in Eugene my entire life, I had never tasted a sandwich quite like that before. I opted for the Philly cheesesteak with a BLT, and my taste buds are still tingling. Best sandwich I’ve eaten. My job takes me all throughout Oregon in Washington and I work with several restaurants and eateries, so I’ve had a lot of sandwiches in my lifetime.

Holy moses this place is good! I’m from the East Coast so I feel equipped to judge a good philly. This place is legit. Where do they source their bread??? It’s like I’m back at college, it’s maybe 2am, and I’m ordering a delicious, hot chicken philly. Except I remember this sandwich! Amazing combo of pepper Jack and the hot cherry peppers. Not over sauced like many places do. Each bite was so full of flavor. I ordered the middle size and I could have finished it, but I saved half for my husband because it was so incredible. Tots were great too! Perfect amount. They are generous with their dipping sauces. Fast, super friendly service. Very fair prices too. I will be back bc I should try that Buffalo Chicken sando. Thanks Uncle Sammy’s!
