This is a fairly small bakery with no in-store seating. However I was greeted promptly upon entering and the baker was so kind. I ordered three individual desserts to include the tiramisu role, some baklava and an Russian Napoleon pastry(in total, all pastries served 5). It was $14 for everything, which was below average.
The tiramisu roll tasted fantastic and simple melted as soon as it touched your lips. Although The Baklava tasted great, it could have been a bit fresher. The Russian Napoleon cake seemed a bit “americanized”. I simply make it differently with many more layers that are thinner and more custardy than whipped cream texture. Overall it was a great value and the deserts were delicious. Ill definitely be back.

I am rarely at a loss for words. But if I could rate the bakery 10 stars it would not be enough. The food and quality are amazing!
My husband and I travel the country and this is so far better than any other bakery I’ve visited in the past 10 years.
One visit isn’t enough. Because they are constantly adding new items every time we visit. And for a special treat, call ahead to order the croissants the day before. You will not regret the extra wait.

She did a great job for my mother’s birthday cake and was able to do it last minute! It tasted really good, cake texture is similar to a cake pop, nice and moist and not too sweet. Frosting was great too!

We discovered this bakery a couple of years ago while searching for a cake for my daughter’s first birthday. They did an outstanding job—the cake looked exactly as we ordered and tasted amazing. Since then, I’ve only ordered cakes from here, and several of my friends have become their customers as well. Our guests has loved their cakes everytime!
I was especially impressed when they created a specialty cake for us in just one hour, and it turned out fantastic. I highly recommend this bakery for any birthday or special occasion cakes.

Lucky for us most other bakeries are not open on Sunday and we had to search for one. This nondescript bakery reminded me of some delicious Desserts we enjoyed in Europe.
The prices are beyond reasonable for the scratch made delicate pastries and cakes they offer.
The fruit tart is my favorite that we got. It was just the right amount of sweet and oh so good. The crust flakey and delightful, the fruit so fresh!
The strawberry cake is absolutely the perfect balance of light, airy and summer fresh.
The red velvet roll, though not a traditional southern USA version, was quite delicious in this lighter “less heavy” version.
The apple tart was reminiscent of apple pie with a baklava twist. Unique flavor.
The two cookies we had were quite lovely, They go well with tea or coffee.
My hubs grabbed a bottled coffee and we paid right at $20 for the whole lot. Everything tasted great and delicious.
I want to serve the tarts at my next dinner party.

Local gem for tasting delicious cakes and dessert. Their bakery items are not sugar loaded like others. Perfect sweetness and savory flavors. Love the owner baker from Nigeria. Wish they have a table for coffee

I called many bakeries for a last minute order Sunday and was not successful (as expected) but when I called Gourmand bakery, she got my order in and said it will be ready Monday after 10am. She didn’t hesitate, she just took my order and was so hospitable about it. Picked up the cake and grabbed me a slice that was just starring at me lol. Let me tell you…that slice I picked was chefs kiss. Her bakery was a random pick at the last minute for me, she did the coconut cake I requested for a 75th birthday (his favorite) and he loved it. Please support this bakery, you will not be disappointed. They will definitely be seeing more of me until I’ve tried all their delicious bakery options. This bakery should be packed the way the taste of her cakes are. The slice that chose me lol was like pecan vanilla cream (sorry if I got that wrong) either way, it was butchered to the last bite lol pic is the slice. Go get you some.
