I made a great decision to stop in for lunch and ordered one of the specials listed on the chalk board out front. I got the beer battered shrimp sandwich. This sandwich was AWSOME! So much flavor. The coarse slaw, red onion, some kind of aoli, maybe cilantro… I can’t remember all the toppings but it was delicious. And the bread was surprisingly soft and tasty. The special came with 1 side… I got fries which were warm and crispy… way above average. I chased it with a local IPA. Service was friendly and fast. I spent $25 (including the beer) before tax and tip, so not cheap but worth it if you want a notch above.

My husband and I had dinner here for the first time last night and we will definitely be back! Salmon and lasagna for dinner and banana pudding and cinnamon donut bread pudding for dessert. Service was so friendly and helpful. Food was 10/10. Definitely a go to for us now!

The ancient book/word “Genesis” comes from same root as “generosity”. This place is a garden of culinary delights. They share meaningful hospitality while the place inspires joy. The staff includes gifted chef from Greenbrier and renowned pastry chef. Bon appétit!

Looked impressive but the food was nothing exceptional. Perhaps my expectations were unreasonably high based on prior reviews. This place has great potential, I just had nicer experiences with bistros. Granted, I was only there for lunch.

We ordered multiple things, from salads to desserts. Everything was fantastic. I don’t think there’s a bad food item on the menu. You can’t choose wrong. Atmosphere was great, and the Weight staff was on point, including the bartender. Definitely recommend you in this town.

Had an incredible experience at Gustard’s during our most recent holiday. The service was outstanding, genuinely friendly, attentive, and more than willing to go above and beyond. It’s a fantastic option if you’re staying at The Greenbrier and want a break from the resort prices without sacrificing quality. Everything we saw coming from the kitchen looked and smelled amazing, and the food certainly lived up to the high level of service. Highly recommend.

Great lunch on the patio.
Had the Gouda dip with awesome homemade potato chips. Then we split the fish. Glad we split portion was large and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

I wanted to give this restaurant a great review. It is a new restaurant in White Sulfur Springs, WV. But a second visit has not improved my impression. The service is painfully, and unnecessarily slow. We were there for 2 hours with only 2 persons in our party. We ordered an appetizer with our beverages (a soda and a glass of wine), Prosciutto and Parmesan Palmiers (no photo). This comes with 6 tasty little wheels but I couldn’t detect the prosciutto, only the cheese. We shared a salad which we received after over an hour of putting in our order. The salad would have been tasty with its mixed wild greens, craisins, and pickled onions but it was so overdressed I couldn’t appreciate any of the flavors except for that of the dressing. Neither of us was able to finish it and having split the salad, our portions were small so finishing it would not have been a problem. I guess I should have ordered the dressing on the side so that I could have controlled the dressing. I am a believer that the dressing should enhance the overall flavors of the salad, not drown out the salad itself. After having ordered an hour and a half earlier, our steaks finally arrived. Fortunately, they were both cooked to our specifications and the flavors were nice. The steaks (one ribeye and one tenderloin) were served with mashed potatoes and roasted root vegetables. The mashed potatoes were smooth but nothing else special about them. The roasted vegetables were both under and over roasted. There were baby turnips that were under roasted ( still crunchy with strong sulfur notes) and delicata squash with a flesh that was sweet and creamy but the skin could not be chewed. As I mentioned at the start, this was my second visit to this restaurant. I believe this establishment has great potential that it has not yet tapped into. But I think the first thing they need to address is the ridiculously slow service.

Sometimes the most delightful experiences come in the most unexpected places. We were there for dinner the other night, and were completely blown away by the entire experience. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, the service absolutely impeccable, and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in quite some time. Everything was outstanding, and I would make the 3 hour drive back just for more of their amazing bread pudding. The cocktails were top notch as well. It’s a “must return” to establishment for us.
