I was super sad to get Chang Jiang tonight and it is nowhere close to what I was hoping it would be. I ordered the beef fried rice and three egg rolls. The egg rolls were super mushy and I didn’t even finish one of them. (Which is so unusual. They’re very reminiscent of the egg rolls you can buy in the frozen section of your local grocery store.The beef fried rice had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. It was completely lifeless I put two packs of soy sauce in it to try to breathe Life into it. It still was not great. It was just overcooked It still, maybe thrown in the box after being mixed with beef, no veggies no scrambled eggs, it wasn’t fried at all. No hoisin, no soy sauce, it wasn’t edible and I gave it a good effort. I go out of my way to the Raymond Rd., Chang Jiang In Madison for eggrolls, but this location is nowhere near the other ones. I’m super sad.

Even if I didn’t find stainless steel scrub pad parts in my food, I would still give it a 1 star because the food was bland and the egg rolls had no flavor but grease. I know it can happen to anyone anywhere accidents happen but slow down and watch what you are doing. That easily could have been an ER visit.
