We went for lunch and I ordered the chicken fajitas, my husband ordered the Con Apollo (may be misspelling it), however, the food and the service was amazing! I loved the atmosphere.. it definitely gave a Mexican vibe and it was very clean! The lunch portion was acceptable for the price and the flavor. I also had a house margarita which I must say, it didn’t have much alcohol but the mix was good, so next time I’ll have to order a top shelf margarita. The staff is friendly and attentive. This is my new go to Mexican restaurant!!

Went here for menudo soup and it did not disappoint. It was flavorful but not overly salty. Personally I think their seasoning on all the dishes was perfect. We got the Margarita flight and it was a great way to sample their flavors. Service was great. They checked in often to make sure we were happy and to clear off the table as we finished our dishes. The atmosphere was very cute and clean. Will definitely be returning.

The second is a photo of the “Yuca con Chicharron” listed on DoorDash. The first is what I received . This isn’t a mistake or another item on the menu. It looks like they bought pork rind chips and deep fried them. Regardless, it is not what was in the photo. You can see chunks of meat in the original photo. I received all chips and not even the right consistency, texture, or color. I didn’t even receive the coleslaw that was supposed to come with it. I only received a $5 refund for an item I paid $15 plus $delivery plus $tip. What a shame. How calculated and deliberate.

I really wanted this to be a great experience but it was not. At 6 pm on a Friday we were the only guests (party of 3) in the building and we saw 2 carry out guests in the hour we were there. The menu was promising but it did not deliver. Music was really loud and service was very slow as the only table in the building. Our server was eating dinner in the dining room so the bartender helped us get our check. Tacos were ok. My husband got the side of yucca fries and literally got 3 fries, no joke. What a disappointment.

Soups offered daily! Menudo, sopa / caldo de res was delicious. The chorizo cheese dip was one of the best I’ve had, definitely going back.

i don’t usually leave reviews, but i’m from the west coast and it’s overall hard to find any hispanic restaurants that are genuinely good… this place reminds me of my home state with the food and horchatas… i come here at least once a week, the servers here are so kind… this place definitely deserves business.

This is a relatively new place, located in the north end of the strip of shops, next to the latin grocery behind Zaxbys.
I’m a taco fiend, so this place screams my name every time I was on NC-49. It’s close to I-485 , about 2 blocks north of Arrowood.
