Food and service were great! My husband got the chop steak with green beans and I got the chicken without basil with green beans and seasonal veggies. Atmosphere was perfect for conversation. They do have pool tables and darts too. We will definitely be back!

We love to come here often! The food is great, the servers/bartenders are always kind and welcoming. We always recommend this place. I love how they do activities like bingo or trivia during the week. The only issue we keep coming across is the attitude and poor service from the owner. The owner is also a cook to my understanding. We typically go in and sit at the bar, order a couple of drinks, and maybe some food. If we bring extra people with us, we usually sit at the tables. When we order food we rarely ever have any mistakes, but when we do we let our server know and they take it back. We don’t order crazy requests, and we are always patient and respectful as we know how the industry works. If we send food back, the owner comes out and has an insane attitude, is rude, and makes smart remarks. If we try to explain anything he walks off and makes a face. The sad part is, we’ve seen him do this to MULTIPLE customers AND staff. It’s sad to watch and makes customers feel unwelcome. I’m not really sure how you can be in the service industry and not have hospitality. We come here because of the staff! We love the customer relationship. I will always recommend going to them, but we wish the owner was nicer to everyone. I hope nothing but success for this place.

I had the opposite experience here than the majority of reviews stated. This place looks super cool and fun, but it was strange and we left very disappointed.
They don’t have a cocktail menu which is weird to me since the bar seems like the prominent feature of the place. The service was meh. The food was VERY meh, almost bad. I love a Reuben sandwich, it’s one of those things where if it’s on the menu at a restaurant I’ll usually go for that. I tried the Reuben here and was sorely disappointed. The seasoning on the corned beef is just very off, it’s under salted and way too much cloves. and they don’t put Swiss on it, they use Gruyère cheese so the flavors are just very different. The server also recommended the Mac and cheese over the fries so I got that, and it was terrible. I don’t know how you could mess up Mac and cheese so badly but this stuff just tastes like velveeta melted over noodles. It was not good, and it was also served barely room temperature. The fries my husband got with his grouper sandwich I think were best part of the meal. The grouper sandwich wasn’t bad, but it didn’t blow me away.
We got fried pickles as an appetizer and couldn’t finish them. They are cut SO thick and the pickles are EXTREMELY sour, they were just very intense and unenjoyable.
Lastly, and this is just my random opinion, but I think that the restaurant feels like it has a ton of potential as a space, but it could use a makeover. The bench with pillows when you first walk is the only part of the restaurant with any personality. The space would feel a lot more interesting if there were lower pendant lights dangling above the tables and the colors of the walls were darker. It was too bright and felt like a bit like a cafeteria. And get rid of some of the hotel art on the walls.
The pool tables are awesome, but unfortunately we didn’t get to take advantage of them because there was a large group of kids and teenagers there that night playing.
I hope we can return on a different day maybe in a few months and give it another try.

Best sports bar ! Friendly staff & crowd. No loud screaming at tv’s like some sports bar. Safe enough to bring your kids . Pool tables & video games to keep them occupied & off their phones. Buckets of beers (5) for $15 ! Tavern Burger with fries $15. Great time watching football! They get ALL the Games. Food is amazing! You gotta check out this neighborhood sports bar. It’s actually owned by a Local .

No frills, chill neighborhood bar. The food is better than “typical” bar food, but just as comfortable. More of a bar after hours, but totally appropriate for lunch or dinner too.

Went there a little after 5 with my wife and 4 year old twins. Food was awesome. Best wings I have had in Jacksonville. Server (Rachael I think) was great and knowledgeable.

I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese with balsamic reduction, not to mention the drunken cheesy bread is also unique and tasty. Nice portions.

Loved it here. A little quiet at first because I got there early 4pm ish and I was waiting on a friend. But it picked up after about an hour. It was a nice Valentine evening. We got a black and blue cauliflower pizza and it was delicious. Service was good. This would be a great venue for family gatherings too. Lots
