Excellent little spot for a burger! Parking in front is limited so find parking across the street. The only thing I wish they had were fries, they do sell chips, but fries are to burgers what jelly is to peanut butter, it just makes for a better experience! Also very cool that you have both Bison and Elk burger options.

This place is perfect for a quick bite of quality food. We had the beef burger, bison burger, and the Kobe sliders, and it was all perfect. Very unique, cozy place in a building with lots of history.

We found this place while staying at a nearby state park by heeding google reviews. It did not disappoint. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the burgers were top notch. If you don’t know anything about this area and are exploring, it is definitely worth the detour!

While the burger was good it was expensive. The only sides are chips, salad, or slaw. There aren’t many drinks to choose from. Its location was beautiful. We paid $70 for 2 adults and 2 children to have a burger, side and drink.

The name might suggest that they have good burgers, which they do don’t get me wrong. However the best thing on the menu here is the beef tacos. I have never had a better taco in my life. It was unbelievably fresh and mouthwateringly delicious. It is a must eat if you are in central city or black hawk.

Wanted to get something better than what the casinos offered around here. This place definitely delivered! Coleslaw and burger are one of the best around in a cozy atmosphere. Prices aren’t the cheapest, but don’t get me wrong, the quality is worth every penny. If you’re in Black Hawk or Central City, be sure to stop by.

What a quaint little place. We stopped for a quick bite. They were delicious home cooked burgers by husband and wife. We enjoyed that they use wheat buns instead of white. They have options for meat too. We will definitely go back. Basically the only place in town that’s not a casino restaurant.

Good burgers. I had the Epic Burger and enjoyed the quality of ingredients. The place is quite small but was empty for lunch on a Tuesday. I’d recommend it if your looking for something organic and good quality.

Claim to have the best burger on the mountain. If it’s anything like the items we ordered I wouldn’t bother! Had a chili dog. It was a regular hot dog covered in cooked hamburger, no beans! Other party had pulled pork. It was dry & the BBQ sauce was nothing special. The sandwiches & sides are expensive for what you get. Wanted to try it because of sign. Won’t be back. Stick with the casinos & their specials. They also have only 2 parking spaces but, I guess that’s all they need considering.

The woman who runs this cozy little place is super nice. Please try her hand-made kombucha, even if you haven’t had any before. Her burgers were perfect. She doesn’t really have a patio, but a little shaded table outside. No beer or wine unfortunately.
