Pizza was good. Not gonna lie, at first It didn’t look like it was fresh out the oven but I got a slice and it was really good. The only negative was just the size of the slices, got two pepperoni and my second one liked like a kids slice. Other than that pizza was good and it was a clean place, spacious, and outdoor seating.

I have been ordering from zappias since they were at their last location on Union Place. At that time the pizza was fantastic, a true brick oven pizza made with quality ingredients. When they moved to Beechwood the ingredients changed but the pizza was still decent. Most recently the ingredients must have changed again. As others have mentioned in the reviews the pizza is dry like cardboard and tasteless. Cutting corners will only lose you business…The kids working behind the counter always seem confused and have a bit of an attitude. A parent present to manage would be helpful. Better options out there. I get my pizza out of town now.

My three kids it was a great experience, especially if everyone there Nick they’re friendly with children warm environment. They will chat with you a little bit so you get that personal touch. Great pizza by the way and they also do wings and deli and sandwich sandwiches. I tried the Margherita pizza, and the brick-oven crust was perfectly crispy with that authentic wood-fired char, fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil that burst with flavor. Don’t skip the garlic knots as an appetizer; they’re fluffy and garlicky heaven. The staff is warm and attentive, and the modern indoor/outdoor setup makes it great for a casual dinner or takeout. Their catering menu sounds amazing for events too. If you’re craving Italian done right, this is your spot!

Food – the food is good-to-very good. Perhaps one of the better pizzas in Summit.

Great spot in town. Love Zappia’s deli to begin with, but their pizza- YUM!!! Love ordering the grandma pie. I love that they deliver, and they come sooner than expected. Less cheese and less will make your pizzas much better. Contrary to popular belief alot of cheese doesn’t make pizza better. You only need a sparing amount. If you do that your crusts will be crisp. The undercarriage was too floppy.

Great food and a fun place. While they seem to cater more to carryout, we had a good experience . We were there for lunch and the pizza was wonderful. Our order came quickly and the pizzas were cooked perfectly. I occasionally order pizza for the Nuns at the Dominican Monastery and this is their favorite place as well.
