I always do my best to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt but this place always seems to disappoint. They either get my order wrong or the food is cold. I don’t recommend get food to go. I got a plate of food today with an extreme flavor of pesticides.

I came here with my mom and little sister, the buffet was closed but they opened it just for us. Food is amazing, it’s savory and fresh and authentic. Service is great, the people here are so nice, I love how sweet they are, the waiters and owner were super helpful. Overall my experience here was great and I’d definitely come back again. 10/10

We’ve been here many times, and their menudo is consistently delicious! I think it’s the best I’ve had in Weslaco. They have breakfast all day; just ask for the breakfast menu. My son loves their omelets! They put lots of cheese and bacon.
I’ll try to come during the week for their lunch specials.

Great place to have bfast.. This lil local joint has been around since the 80s with the same family. They do change the name .. But, it is still in the same family.. The building is old, and that might be a turn-off for some people. The decor is worse it’s like 1985 in there.. I had shredded beef with eggs. Mexican style, of course. The service and ladies were very nice. The food is good and the prices are very inexpensive.Tortillas are hand-made, which is a plus. So, take the whole family for breakfast. Happy Health to all….

Hands down, the most underrated restaurant we’ve been to in the Valley! It’s so freaking good and very reasonably priced! My husband is not a big cheese enchilada person, but he eats these right up! The carne guisada was so tender and full of flavor (better than another highly popular restaurant in Weslaco-imo). The chips and salsa were very fresh and definitely homemade- so good. It wasn’t too spicy but full of flavor! The rice is not your typical orangy color but it is very good! Currently they offer a lunch buffet from Wed-Friday for $10.99. I was sad to see this place so empty today because it’s really just that good. They mentioned that during the summer it’s a little slow during the week, I’m assuming the nearby schools give them the most business. But honestly it really deserves to be busy daily. If you’re in the Weslaco area, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Don’t let the dodgey exterior/interior fool you. Their customer service is also top tier!

Great place to stop and have breakfast or lunch . Their plate selections are off the chain. Best menudo in the valley so far. The hospitality is superb. Will definitely have to visit once I come through Weslaco again. Thank you!
