Kam Ying consistently deliver great food. , we love their chow mien and the chicken satay. But every dish we have is always excellent with a plentiful amount of chicken breast and vegetables. The delivery service too is always spot on and never late.

As regular customers, we asked for food to be ready in 45 minutes time, in person and we paid. Upon returning, they had lost our order, blaming each other and cares more about customers currently ordering food. Upon complaining, they stated it’d be another 20-30minutes although they have previously done it in 10minutes. We were pushed aside and offered nothing in return. Will not be going back and cannot stress how disappointed we are.
Mistakes happen but the disregard to correct this and pushing us aside is unfair and unnacceptable.

Ordered food online, 35 minutes past delivery time food still not arrived, rang restaurant twice, was told it was with the driver.
Driver rang he had been at wrong address for 20 mins, he said he was now at our address. Husband went down driver still not there, 10 minutes later driver rang to say he was here. I refused to take food it had left the restaurant 30 mins before. Restaurant need delivery drivers who know the area. Not had problems before with this restaurant used it many times, good food. Won’t use again I’m sorry to say

I’ll keep this brief. Looking for a Chinese on a Saturday night where I could pay online with plastic and have it delivered. Had to buy two meals to get it over the minimum for delivery. See below.
The Good; Lightening fast. Came while the web site said it was still in the middle of being prepped. (well within 30mins)
The Bad;
Chicken curry really tasted of newly added curry powder and had a strange powdery texture, the fried rice was hard. I didn’t finish the meal, wasn’t enjoying it.
Satay Chicken Chow Mein; The second meal was going in the fridge until tomorrow but I tried it while it was fresh. (see pic) The only single bite I had, there is only one way to put it but it tasted synthetic, almost chemical.
I’m not looking forward to the odds on enjoyment tomorrow.

FOOD POISONING LASTED 3 DAYS!!!
I recently moved to Hinckley from up north to be with my partner, Thursday just gone I arrived and we ordered from here…never again.
We believe it was the chow mein as it was old tasting and very chemically, we only had a small bit, however, left most of it as it was revolting, within an hour we were being violently sick, this lasted 3 days! We had to call 111 in the end as we could barely keep water and plain bread down. We had plans all weekend that had to cancelled as we were both bed bound – whatever they put in that food must have been incredibly rotten.
Do not eat here! Especially take care with small children as we were seriously ill and could be very dangerous for them.

I ordered satay chicken without mushrooms for allergy reasons and it came with 2 mushrooms (my thought is wow I can’t eat it) but the other is did they just remove them cause did it only come with 2 mushrooms that seems unlikely as these mushrooms where infact at the bottom of the Container so if all were removed the mushrooms had been in contact with the dish so my reaction wud be the same becareful.
Also the sauce was very weak and watery the chips were undercooked (and soggy) but that was the heat in the bag and also the noodles were thin and tasted that of a (supermarket brought pot noodle) which I’ve had only a hand full of times cause I’m a cook but when time is upon me I have reached for one cause it’s only boiling a kettle when at work so awful in many ways and I wasn’t able to eat mine my partner and daughter told me the chicken balls the batter was too thick very doughy inside the only thing I enjoyed was the amount of egg in the egg fried rice as at other Restaurants I order extra and my Container was bursting with egg and the free dessert was amazing (unsure if made in or brought out)
The staya chicken was spicy when it’s not supposed to be and the spicy dish I requested wasn’t ? So unsure if mix communication with language barrier ??

So I work for the local council taking my order is fine untill I asked if I can pay on card so they hang up on me and was very rude . So now we have opened an investigation against them also making customers pay by cash which is illegal in its self can’t wait to shut them down … and more evidence will or may be presented here but we have now actively got an invitation against them as well as there food and hygiene complaints… which is why we called as a normal customer and now we know what’s going on …

The food was absolutely dreadful. The chicken chow mein was completely unappetising, and the egg-fried rice was no better.
After just a few bites, I couldn’t bring myself to eat any more and ended up throwing it all away—it was that bad.
I’ll definitely be sticking to my usual spot in the future, as this was a thoroughly disappointing experience.
