Our menu, food and drink, is crafted with clean and simple ingredients. Our drink flavors are free from any food coloring & preservatives, some select flavors are even organic, and our toppings are thoughtfully sourced or made in house. We carefully source high graded specialty coffee beans, much of which is organic. Food items are made with primarily avocado oil or beef tallow, along with butter and olive oil, sourced from local farms, and plated with seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Tried the nitro flight, vanilla nitro and the breakfast sandwich.
The meat sandwich had sweet glazing which totally threw me off.
The nitro flight was a good idea but i only liked raspberry nitro out of all. Chocolatebrownie was too sweet, coconutwas too bland, etc. Vanilla nitro was similar to Starbucks.
For some reason, they also sell milk, eggs and soda from a small fridge next to the counter. I saw a patron buy 2 crates of eggs while grabbing a coffee. Made me think of the local bodega in neighborhoods. I had so many questions.
Price wise, its at par with Starbucks for drinks and exceeding it for food.

I’ve been here twice and both times were fantastic. Ordered a specialty latte and a sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit sandwich the first time and a cold brew and bacon egg and cheese on focaccia the second time and everything was outstanding. The sandwiches comes with potatoes too. The focaccia in particular is absolutely delicious. It’s a chill place and everyone from the order taker, to the barista, to the cook were all super nice and pleasant. I really felt like they appreciated my business. I will definitely be coming here when I can!

Met up with one of my favorite peeps at the new second location of Hallowed Grounds Coffee in Washington Township. I am slightly embarrassed to say that I have not tried their first location in Merchantville – but that’s on my list!
They were still decorated for the holidays and it was done so well. At one point, we were in line deciding on what we wanted, and I looked up and saw a sleigh with reindeer! Very clever and fun!
It was busy, which is always something I love to see in a local café. They had copies of the menu on the counter and on the wall. The menu is limited, but it was still hard to choose what to order.
After both of us ordered the Avocado Toast (with eggs), we picked a seat. There is plenty of seating, but we got there just in time as it filled up fairly quickly. When the food was ready, it was announced with a melody. Again, fun and friendly vibe!
We both enjoyed the avocado toast and the roasted potatoes. It is also important to note that the café gets their ingredients locally and as “clean“ as possible. They bake their breads onsite (we witnessed it!). Definitely the highest quality and healthiest food possible. Yes, they do have donuts, but they were made with the cleanest ingredients. I did want to try one, but I’m not much of a donut person, so my review on it would not be as valuable for donut connoisseurs reading this.
Do I recommend you trying Hallowed Grounds WT? Yes, yes, yes! It was a pleasant place to have a conversation over good coffee and food.

I loved their coffee truck – so thrilled that they’ve opened listings location in Washington Twp.! I’ve visited once during the soft opening and once since being fully open and both times have been lovely. The staff is super sweet and the coffee drinks I’ve tried have been fantastic. I also had the avocado toast and it was great. Love that it came with breakfast potatoes. I also tried the chocolate chip cookie on my first visit – this may be one of tue best chocolate chip cookies I’ve had! Excited to visit again!

I’ve been trying to make it here after getting so many recommendations and I finally made it! Great place with great service. I brought my laptop to do a little work and was so relieved to see there’s plugs everywhere. WiFi worked great and the homemade chocolate biscotti was the perfect sweet treat. Looking forward to coming back and trying the breakfast and homemade donuts!

Had such a pleasant experience at Hallowed Grounds! Extremely accommodating and great personality from the employees. We didn’t have to wait long at all, even with a line that went almost out the door! Highly recommend. It is pricey compared to a chain coffee shop (obviously) but SO worth it when you realize the quality of the ingredients.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Right from the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcome! Everyone that works there is so attentive and friendly. The coffee is delicious is the biscuit bacon egg and cheese is out of this world – the little potatoes that were a surprise, blew my mind how good they were. Overall great experience! So happy they so close to home!

A south jersey gem!! I got a latte and a sandwich and both were really good. I loved that they disclosed their value for quality ingredients on the box for the sandwich. Loved that they use no seed oils! It showed how they care about their quality. I will 100% be back!

So excited Hallowed Grounds is now in Sewell! One of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to. I love that everything is cooked in tallow, avocado oil or butter. They use pasture raised eggs and grass fed meat as well. Definitely recommend trying, you won’t regret it! ◡̈
