Hill Country Tavern has really been brought back to life under the new ownership. The updates have made it feel clean, welcoming, and full of great energy while still keeping that local charm.
The menu is solid with something for everyone, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. The drinks are ice cold and made just right every time.

Went out to the new HCT, overall I love that it’s non smoking !! Big plus. Overall that staff was great and the drinks well made. The place is very clean and well decorated. There is smoking allowed in the game room area. You will get a small hint while walking in. But once inside you can’t smell it at all. There is a nice menu and am looking forward to trying it out. The loaded fries were delicious and the waffle fries were also great. My wife and I shared the boneless wings, they were good but to us the bbq sauce was bland and not as good as we have had in other places. If anything I would recommend maybe baby rays kicken Bourbon Bbq sauce or really any of the baby rays line would work, love Baby Rays lol . Please don’t take this negatively, just adding some suggestions for ya I really wanna see you succeed!! Maybe add some carrots and celery to the dish for an accent. Or maybe some really good coleslaw!! That would be awesome!! But, we will be back and trying some more of the menu. Rooting for ya and glad you’re here and welcome to our small town!

It’s always refreshing when you encounter a team that takes pride in their work and treats guests with kindness and professionalism. Our server checked in at the right times, made great suggestions, and made sure everything came out just right.
