I love this place. Since it opened, I have been there about ten times. I am not a huge pulled pork fan, so that’s the only thing on the menu that I haven’t tried. But everything I have tried is amazing. I have eaten barbecue all over the country, including Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina, California, and everywhere in between. Burnside is one of my favorites. Their ribs especially are excellent, and I have gotten their burnt ends EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. One of my favorite food items I’ve ever eaten in my life. And once they added brunch items on Sundays, it got even better. I went 4 Sundays in a row to get their sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. I recommend this place to every meat lover, and to your vegetarian and vegan friends who have been missing meat or can be tempted to cheat!

Authentic BBQ flavor! You order by the 1/4 or 1/2 pound and it is served to you on butcher paper and a tray. Real BBQ is definitely not served on a plate!
I went on Tuesday which is……Taco Tuesday! Best time to really sample the menu without spending allot of money! $2 per taco ($3 for chorizo)… You simply can not go wrong.

Small space but delicious food. Pretty traditional BBQ fare. I always get the pulled pork and am never disappointed. The grits and mac and cheese are also great.

The barbecue here is excellent. It’s not the sweet saucy barbecue , although they do have sauces you can add if you’d like. It’s perfectly smoked and seasoned. I tried the brisket pulled pork and the sausage. Also the stuffed jalapeños which I definitely think they should keep on the menu at all times. They are delicious. It’s all good-I loved it all. The prices are less than I’ve paid at other similar barbecue places. They definitely compare to some popular barbecue places in larger cities. The people are very helpful and friendly, and willing to explain everything . I will definitely be back. Well worth the money.

WOW! The food here is amazing! I got the brisket tacos and it was so tender not chewy or dry I loved it! Girlfriend got the pulled pork which I usually dont like but again it was so tender it was amazing I would get it here for sure! The sides are also delicious and you should definitely get there slaw it was also amazing! Would definitely give this place a try it was great!

The highlight here is the meat, very good. Pickles, excellent. Sides are lacking and I would pass on them all together. Not the best barbecue I’ve ever had, but solid. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. This is the kind of place I want to stay in my home town of Kent.

I lived in Austin for a few years so I’m always hesitant to try BBQ elsewhere. I am so glad I tried Burnside. The food was amazing! The burnt ends and sausage were so juicy and delicious. The sweet potato salad was amazing. I am so excited to have found such an excellent BBQ spot in the area. My husband and I will be eating Burnside BBQ at least 2x per month!

Their smoked meats are incredible! I go there for lunch quite often and everything is very good. Taco Tuesdays for $2 can’t be beat. Even their side dishes are tasty and the portion sizes are generous. I would highly recommend giving it a try.
