Slim’s is a cozy establishment serving great food and drinks! My Old Fashioned was perfect. The Caesar Salad had a tasty black pepper kick. The Duck pizza was out of this world. The service was excellent as well. Will definitely return!

Pizzas were wonderful. Meatballs and garlic knots were great too. Service was very friendly and welcoming. This was a very loud establishment and we had to yell at eachother the entire time. It was 7pm on a Friday night though and the restaurant was full.

I have been here 3 times now. The Hot Honey pizza is phenomenal. The best place to sit is at the bar with Beth. She made the whole place feel hospitable this past visit and we chatted a bit. She also makes a killer drink Huzzah!

I had Prosciutto pizza which was ok but nothing special. Crust was burnt on sides and underneath. Meat balls were really good tho. We had tiramisu and Frannie Slim for dessert. Tiramisu is just an ice cream flavor and not the real tiramisu and Frannie Slim is kinda like milk shake in champagne glass.

We grabbed two seats at the bar and from the first moment, it was clear this place is something special. Beth, our bartender, absolutely made our night. She’s not only incredibly welcoming but a master behind the bar. Her cocktail and food recommendations were flawless. We tried the Slim G&T and the Saint Slim, both of which were delicious and well-balanced. Beth’s skill and warmth made us feel like regulars. We started with the Burrata, which was creamy and fresh, then split a pizza half Hot Honey, half Primo, both unforgettable. Don’t skip the Slim Frannie, it’s a sweet, indulgent way to finish things off. Every bite felt curated and elevated. The vibe is truly one of the best in Birmingham. It’s got that ideal patina of your favorite neighborhood spot, comfortable, familiar but with an elevated energy. We’ll absolutely be back.

Ordered at the bar and waited for two to-go pizzas, tipped well. Left with two pizzas cold to the touch.
Currently reheating the pizzas just a few blocks away on Euclid.
Hopefully they’re delicious. We did not plan for a take and bake your own at home type of pizza night.

Nice pizza place in Mt. Brook. We enjoyed the garlics bread and two types of pizza. The star of the night was the spicy chilly hot sauce they make in the restaurant. Our server was very nice. It is a small place so we didn’t like the music was so loud that we could talk to each other without screaming. Definitely would go back.

Pair it with their amazing Aperol spritz or a perfectly chilled martini and you’re in for a treat. Our server, Cecelia, was very attentive and helpful despite clearly having a lot on her plate. She really went above & beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and happy with everything. Truly exceptional service on her part. She made us feel very welcomed, and made some great recommendations as well.
Cocktails were great and well-balanced, pretty good wine selection too. The pizza was absolutely amazing. Definitely best I’ve had in Birmingham.
