Chi’Lantro is a go-to when you want something fast but still packed with flavor. The Korean-Mexican fusion works really well—bold, savory, and not bland “fast casual” food. I ordered a bowl and the ingredients tasted fresh, portions were filling, and everything was put together cleanly (no soggy mess). Service was quick and friendly, and it’s an easy place to swing by for lunch or an easy dinner.

I wanted to try the Korean BBQ–Mexican spot for lunch. You can order from the menu or build your own bowl. I chose the Bibimbap with marinated beef, but I was disappointed. The flavors were very bland, and the sweet sauce they added made the entire dish unappealing.

A Korean BBQ Serenade I can get down with.
Forget fleeting salads; we’re diving deep into the soulful flavors of Korea, kissed with a modern twist. Those kimchi fries? A revelation! Crispy, tangy, a touch spicy – they’re the rebellious cousins of your humdrum potato. And the bowls? Picture this: tender marinated meats nestled amongst vibrant vegetables, a harmonious blend that sings on your tongue. It’s a culinary joyride, a flavor explosion that leaves you grinning like a Cheshire cat. The checkout is lightning fast, a testament to their well-oiled machine. And the staff? Consistently friendly, like chatting with old pals. Seating? Always a comforting sight, a guaranteed spot in the lunchtime chaos. Four stars. It’s a reliable, flavorful adventure that consistently hits the spot.

The meat was tough and stringy like it had been there for ever. They were out of fries and wings an hour before close which was fine. But there was a huge idle of water on the floor and I put their wet floor sign up. It was my first time trying this place if the lady wasn’t so friendly I would have just left. I think it’s worth giving it another due to the veggie combo being so delicious.

I visited this Chi’Lantro at Colorado Tower downtown today for lunch with my coworkers and had a wonderful experience. I got the kpop chicken bowl which was delicious, and the staff member Rino / Reno (sorry I wasn’t sure of the spelling) was extremely attentive and went out of his way to explain the food options to my coworkers who had never been there before, let my coworker sample some meat, and also was attentive and patient in giving me great advice for my order. He also made us wonderful kimchi fries, and had a great positive energy about him the whole time we were there that is rare to witness or find in the service industry sometimes. So thank you to Reno/Rino for your eagerness to make someone’s day and I hope the team at Chi’Lantro will recognise his efforts and hard work as well!

I always try to hit Chi’Lantro when I’m in town as I’ve been a fan since it started as a food truck. I was a bit worried with the ‘new’ slick look and wondered if the food had suffered. From my memory, this doesn’t appear to be the case and I really enjoyed my K’Pop bowl – straight up. A good amount of heat and solid flavours, so I’d definitely recommend it. It does feel like the menu has been pared back but the famous kimchi fries are still here.

This was a last-minute stop before my flight out, and I am so glad I came by! Absolutely delicious! I got the K’Pop chicken bowl and my husband got the tofu bowl, then we split some steak kimchi fries. So incredible and became one of my favorite stops this trip.
