I recently visited Casa Ive, a Dominican restaurant in Fall River, and it exceeded all expectations. I started with a comforting soup that came with a side of white rice—simple, yet full of flavor. I poured the soup over the rice and turned it into a satisfying, hearty meal.
I was joined by my sister and two friends, who ordered a variety of dishes featuring tender steak, flavorful chicken, and juicy pork. Every plate was beautifully prepared and thoroughly enjoyed—especially by my sister, who is famously selective when it comes to food.
We received our meals quickly from a spread of freshly prepared selections, and found a quiet corner to enjoy them. The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere warm and relaxed, and the authentic Dominican music really set the tone.
Though I don’t get to Fall River often, Casa Ive has officially become a go-to spot for lunch whenever I’m in town. Great food, great vibes, and a genuinely enjoyable experience.

BEST Dominican Food I have ever had!
I have been eyeing this place for a while and we decided to try it out when Johan mentioned his mother cooks all the food served at this place. Who can pass up on a home cooked style food, right? We were so glad we tried it. Food was phenomenal. Service was exceptional. Luckily, we were at this place when Johan was working and he explained all options and made some recommendations, which were spot on.
I also like the vibe of this place. It’s simple and has a cafe vibe, which I really like. Dining area is pretty open and have nice tables outside.
Overall, great food and experience. We are looking forward to trying their weekend goat curry and be their regulars.
[update] went back a couple of more times in the evening and food wasn’t as fresh. Rice was very dry and chicken was mushy. Flavors were good but I think I prefer going here during lunch hours when the food is fresh.

We’ve ordered Casa Ive on DoorDash too many times to count and have never had a bad experience. When they’re out of something they call you to let you know and give you extra of your second choice. The food is always flavorful and FRESH. The stewed beef and stewed chicken are usually my go to and the rice is always so good. We recently went to eat in restaurant, and the portions they gave us were huge. This is by far our favorite Dominican restaurant in the city!

We purchased a beef plate (so tender you would not be disappointed) and a side of Goat that was cooked to perfection, ( I have been craving it .)

You walk in the music is going in. It’s nice vibe. Go see what they have and bammmm pork beef chicken rice veggies, these cheese Nothing between 4 all of us, we tried it and it was delicious. Thank you be back for sure!!

Best Dominican restaurant in fall river! The food is delicious, customer service is good, staff is friendly. I’m seeing a lot of people complaining about spice and that the food is bad. It’s delicious, maybe you just don’t like spanish food! Go find somewhere else to eat! I love it.

This place is bomb. My family and I are from Boston but we were in the area and found this restaurant. The owner Ive was so nice and offered samples to us. I will be coming back here if I am in Fall River.

The employees are for days when they want to treat you well and when they don’t treat you like weird an environment with very poor customer service. To not deal with this problem I ordered by doordash and the food uncle confirmation because I made it more than 30 minutes in advance and the other orders for the Yaroa did not have sweet plantain etc. the 3 times have been a disaster as a service of both food to customer service no comprare más en este lugar pero mis familiares o amigos no merecen una porquería de servicio como lo dan en este lugar

Great place. Fried pork was out of this world. Got white rice with beef gravy and pickled red onions on top with a green salad, just amazing. Got a chicken and a cheese pastelitos which were awesome as well. I live right down the street so this will be my new spot for lunch now.

New place. Previous business had horrible service, so hopefully this place is much better.
At first glance it doesn’t look like much but we had to try it. We ordered the following: Cuban sandwich. Overall it was ok. Wrong bread, wrong ham, and a weird sauce but still good.
My wife got the yellow rice and pork shoulder. The rice was spot on! Very good. The pork shoulder wasn’t as good as my mother’s but still good.
We tried the empanadas beef, chicken and cheese. They beef was our least favorite. Not a lot of flavor. The cheese and chicken were great.
They were very busy and still need to work out the kinks especially when cashing folks out. but I wish them all the best!
