Such a gem of a restaurant! Intimate atmosphere fine dining in a house setting with French images and artifacts. The service is friendly and genuine. And the food, well, I can honestly say it was one of the very best meals I have ever eaten! Bon appitite!

Easily the best fine dining restaurant in Baton Rouge. The food is excellent and there’s a very cozy, romantic atmosphere. Would recommend it to anyone.
Edit: This place got absolutely robbed on the Michelin guide. I think both Elsie’s and the restaurant at the St. Francisville Inn are excellent restaurants, but this is by far the best restaurant in the BR area.

Its a great restaurant for a date night or night out with friends for elevated dinner. they did reduce the menu down from what I remember. The food is still really good and the service was extremely attentive. Just an FYI, make sure to bring cash or personal check.

An absolutely perfect experience! Everything about Maison Lacour is top notch: the comfortable setting in this lovely little house, the food from start to finish, and attentive but nonintrusive service. This should be one on everybody’s splurge list for Baton Rouge. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Maison Lacour is by far the best French restaurant in Baton Rouge. The food is always superb and the service is impeccable. Dining at Maison Lacour is like a delightful trip to France. Call well ahead for reservations, these guys stay booked up and for good reason.

Chef Michael Jetty is a wizard of Parisian cuisine!
He and his wife Eva single handily create an elegant dining experience.
Serving only a dozen guests in one evening, it’s like attending a personal chef’s dinner with exquisite food, drink, service and ambiance in a cozy and quaint cottage.
Eva is a wonderful host, taking care of the “front-of-house” while Chef Michael creates excellent meals.
Starting with a lovely bread service and cocktails, this is truly an experience.
The wine list of mainly French and California wines was concise and inclusive.
The entrees were on point. Conrad du Chef-marinated duck breast with Raspberry sauce and Crâbe Royale- crab meat in Thermidore sauce were both excellent.
