Amazing experience from start to finish!
We recently visited Mochi Thai & Japanese Restaurant and absolutely loved it. Every dish we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The fried rice with pineapple and shrimp was delicious, the dumplings were perfectly seasoned, and the octopus sunomono was fresh and expertly prepared. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, and welcoming — perfect for a date night, a family dinner, or a meal with friends. One of the best surprises was the pricing. The quality of the food and the portions are excellent, and the prices are very reasonable — not crazy at all.
Mochi is truly the perfect place to enjoy great food and share a wonderful time.
Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

First time coming here and overall we were happy with the food. The place is pretty small, so once it gets busy it feels really packed. When we visited, there was only one person handling all the tables, so they definitely seemed understaffed. The server was friendly, but the menu wasn’t explained in much detail, and the wait time for food was over an hour. The food was good, prices are reasonable, the restaurant is clean, and there’s plenty of parking. If they add more staff, this place would be much better. I’d still recommend giving it a try.

The food was excellent!! 100% will go back to try different dishes! The restaurant is very small, so the place can get loud depending on the crowd. The bathroom and tabkes are very clean. The only reason it is a 4 out of 5 is the time we went, they were very under-staffed. The staff was not very attentive due to running around, if you wanted something, you needed to get up to ask. The staff were all friendly, just overwhelmed.

Great place for a mixture of Thai and Japanese food. Staff was friendly and helped us make up our minds. The locations a little small but has a welcome vibe to it. The food was really good especially the appetizer we had. The guy that came out to serve us our foods was awesome. He was friendly and stopped to chat with us a little too.

Everything I ordered came out as it was done so super fresh!!
No complaints. The host maybe owner was super nice and attentive.

UPDATE: It’s still amazing as the first time I tried it. The staff are the sweetest and welcoming. The thai tea is the best! The food is perfect! Definitely give Mochi Thai & Japanese a try, you won’t regret it. Thank you!

We’ve been wanting to try this place for quite some time now. Mochi Thai and Japanese is where New Thai used to be and this place was recommended by some friends and family.
We arrived for dinner at around 5.30pm and was greeted by the server right away!! This place is a small and feels very homie. The 2 servers (didn’t quite catch their names as they didn’t mention their names to us) were very nice and accommodating. We ordered 5-6 items off the menu, they were Edamame, Tako Yaki (Japanese Octopus balls), Spider Roll, Chicken Pad Thai, Tonkatsu Ramen and Rock & Roll Roll. All of the items came out and a timely manner (didn’t have to wait too long, perfect timing actually)
All of the food items tasted good. Although for the Takoyaki they should’ve used regular kewpie Mayo instead of spicy Mayo and with out the salads in the bottom (more authentic), and the Pad Thai noodles were just a little bit over cooked but tasted great! Very satisfied.

*Update* So I’ve been back several times and have told everyone of this little gem. The food is consistently delicious and the service is always great. Will continue to come out, support, and try new items on their expansive menu!
Working on trying out local restaurants. This restaurant is literally down the street from me and have heard positive things about the food. We unfortunately didn’t get pass the appetizers but have plans to come back and try their entrees. Service was great, food came out immediately, and everything was delicious! I was expecting small portions for their price point but was pleasantly surprised by how hearty the appetizers were. Believe the hype. We will be back soon!

Wow what an amazing transformation 4 years ago they had a Thai restaurant with different owners and it wasn’t so good but just recently this family of three mother father and son have taken over and they are making waves. The wait for the food was a little long but he was so worth it very clean and appropriate dining room I told them they should knock out a wall and make it bigger. Great authentic Japanese food along with a fusion of tie food too. We tried several appetizers and all of them were delicious.
