If any of you remember t v. show Cheers. Kinda reminds me of that place. Once anybody behind the bar knows your name. They will know you when you return, and maybe what you drink.
Drinks are made to how you like them. The pizza is always awesome. Anytime I can walk into a place and you quickly notice how clean the place is right to the bathroom. To me this place takes pride and ready to greet you and make you feel right at home.

I was out on a motorcycle ride and decided to stop in here for a beer. Many many years ago my Grandpa used to meet his buddies here to drink beer and play cards, so for the sake of nostalgia I felt compelled to treat myself to a cold beer on hot and humid day. I did not catch the bartenders name, but he was very friendly and attentive. There was a handful of locals present having a drink and discussing current events while a few kids played around in a back corner. I can’t speak to the food since I didn’t eat, and I only had one beer, but what a neat little tavern. It’s been in business since 1939, and I don’t foresee it going away any time soon. Highly recommend!!

You can’t beat the small town atmosphere and the staff are great here!
We have been here a few times since we moved into the area and have never had a complaint. We have even brought a large group of friends here and everyone was extremely happy!
Their pizza is top notch! I don’t know what they put in this stuff, but it beats out just about everything I have ever had. The cheese is piled high, just the right amount of sauce and other toppings.
I will be back many more times!!

The place was clean and a great amount of tv’s. It was a Sunday, and they had an acoustic band playing. People were nice and had a lot of fun. We ordered 3 pizza’s and 1 of them tasted like it was freezer burnt. Pizza is pretty small for $20. They did have free, fresh popcorn! I will say they do not sell Budlight products, none. The drinks are very weak. We each spent $60-70 PER person, all drinking 6 alcoholic beverages a peice, and walked out fine. They do have a good selection of different canned beverages other than beer.

Great pizza, cold drinks, and great small town bar atmosphere. It doesn’t get any better than Davey Tavern. Update: Recently remodeled, too. Just took home three pizzas and they were awesomely heavy on the cheese and tasted great.

Excellent tavern. Very down home atmosphere. Some of the best bar pizza around, even the church groups order from here for their pizza parties. Good friends and good times. Will return soon.
