2 days prior I ordered the same item and it was fine.
Been going here since it opened and this was the last time.
Been seeing that Little Caesars commercial for their mini-pizza puffs a lot recently, so on a half day off from work I decided to go all out and try a bit of everything from the restaurant that I haven’t been to since I was in elementary school.
Ordered online going with a create your own pizza of thin crust with mushrooms, green bell pepper, and onions. One order of those pizza puffs, and an order of the crazy bread sticks with sauce. Also tacked on a garlic butter dipping sauce too. Total came to just over $30 for everything, which is crazy, as the same price would net me a half the stuff at Dominos or Pizza Hut. So good prices.
Arrived on site and used their pizza portal to pickup, which was amusing, to punch a code into a machine like a vendomatic and get my order nice and hot. A bit of a time trying to leave what with the parking lot not offering any room to maneuver to avoid backing up onto the busy street, but a break in traffic helped.
Back home I dug into everything and found the pizza to be the best thin crust pizza I have had from a pizza chain ever, it outclassed both Dominos and Pizza Hut’s thin crusts, it had plenty of my requested toppings, the crust had a good flavor despite being so thin. But that was it for the good. The pizza puffs were disappointing as heck despite being so hyped up on tv, they were so oily, that the flavor they had was muddled by the oil. So darn oily. The “crazy” bread sticks, well, the only thing crazy about them was how bad they were. Pizza Hut still has the best bread sticks thus far, but, at least these crazy sticks weren’t the atrocities to mankind that the Dominos bread knots are. But that’s the only good thing I can say about them, as they lacked any flavor, had almost no seasoning, and even dipped into the sauce or the garlic butter they still sucked.
Let me be clear on my 4/5, I’m only giving this a 3.5 out of 5, but Google doesn’t do half stars so I’ll be nice and round up for that banging thin crust. Were I to ever come back, it would just be for the pizza, and just the thin crust. Everything else is a pass.
