We were a party of 6 and had a good experience. We did move due to the air condition blowing down on us. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Menu is small, but the food you get is good. We first ordered the yummy crab dip, we thought there should have been 2 loves of breads or some crackers. Since you got a lot of crab dip. The food we had was very good, and the drinks were good as well. We will go back again.

Stopped in after passing Diggs for years. We ordered Steaks that were noted in the menu as local beef Cooked perfectly they tasted great. Chef hardly seasoned as he must have known how good the meat tastes. Staff was very friendly and the crowd grew quickly as gorgeous Harley’s pulled up one after the other. Just a beautiful place to hang out have some great food and have a beer.

Stopped in for dinner one night. I like the atmosphere and the fire place. I got the crab cakes…the portion is very generous and the crab was very chunky. I wasn’t a fan of them though. I’m not sure if it’s a different crab than I am used to but it didn’t smell the same as other crab cakes I have had. The price was expensive compared to other places I get crab cakes at. The service was really good and I would stop in for another try for a different dish. I also had the bacon wrapped bbq shrimp which was very yummy. And the corn bread is also very good.

If I could give this a negative star I would. The service is absolutely terrible. It took forever to get seated. The waitress never brought us our drinks and said she had completely forgot. We had to ask for our drinks after receiving not just our appetizers but also our actual entrees. That isn’t customer service at all. The food was over priced and extremely over cooked. It was like they stuck everything in a fryer and burned it. The burgers were flat and over seasoned. It’s pretty sad to experience such service and food from a business that has already gotten shut down once. This isn’t how you stay open!

The food was very good! The server seemed new, but was very friendly and courteous. She was also very attentive. She kept checking on us and also letting us know our food would be ready soon. Apologetic when they were out of some things we wanted. It was a late Sunday night dinner for us and they’re closed on Mondays, so being out of things was ok I guess. It took about 45 mins to get our food, but it was worth the wait. Very good! I had the Chicken Chesapeake which was very juicy and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were amazing! No gravy needed! The fries are hand cut and FAT! My husband and son got the House Burger which were cooked to their favorite temps. We were happy with our experience and will return one night when we’re in the area again.

I have been here a few times and thought it was a decent little place. Was there tonight and my food was burnt terrible and the fries seemed like the we’re sitting out all day. I made my waitress aware (same one i saw in the kitchen wiping her nose with the back of her hand and then continued to bring food out) she took my plate and asked if i wanted anything else so i just got soup. After receiving the check i was still charged for all of it and was just told “she said nothing about taking it off” assuming she is a manager, no wonder this place never is busy. Wish a decent restaurant would come to the area eventually.

Service was very good. Had finished our meal by the time the crayfish was brought to the table. The shrimp were good on the sandwich, the lettuce wasn’t fresh at all. My husbands oyster poor boy proves the point you shouldnt get oysters in a month without an r. Fries ok.a little disappointed with the choice of bread for a poor boy. Will probably try again when they have had some time to settle in

I was at this restaurant opening night and boy was it crazy. Not only was the place packed but the workers never seemed to be in one spot for more than a second unless tending a table. And it was also later that night that the owner came around and personally said hi to everyone. I found out from the gentlemen that it was his first restaurant and he was partners with another who was in the same boat. I was astonished that they kept it together so well. I’ve seen a lot of places fail. Now this is a southern style place to eat and As for my food I did only get a burger my first visit and the only thing I can say is the buns might have been toasted a lil to much but it was still a good meal. I have returned since then and not once have I been displeased by the meals I’ve had. All well prepped with good timing. This delicious food making me salivate like the oceans ran dry. Not only is the food great but I see a hard working staff behind the curtain. If you go here and are displeased. Then I say give it a second chance. If you have a bad second time, then to be honest it’s probably you not these really nice people. Eat well readers!

Three stars because the nachos and the cornbread are very good. I enjoyed my Jambalaya, but my wife’s burger was a huge disappointment…not even close in quality or value considering the price charged for it. I think that they can do better.

If you’re a local definitely worth visiting, a true taste of The Big Easy! Best cornbread, catfish & jambalaya. Rustic with a New Orleans theme. Need to add southern desserts – suggestion would be pecan pie, Mississippi mud or French pastry! Will definitely return.
