My kids always prefer papa John’s pizza over Pizza Hut or little Ceasars, usually we don’t have complains but this time I don’t know what happened the pizza was oily and disgusting. We couldn’t even eat it without dabbing it with napkins! They just have hired new staff! Their old staff made it so much better, they need to retrain them on how to make pizza and cheese sticks. The reason I like ordering from these guys is because I can select clean cut online without having to make special request on the phone to use a clean knife to cut my pizza so they don’t contaminate with a meat pizza cutter!

Pizza came 45 minutes late, cold, under cooked, and poorly made. Meaning, more bread than actual toppings and tomato sauce. Bread that is way under cooked. I will never order again.

Let me start by saying I have loved Papa John’s since they opened their first store in my hometown and have been loyal to them for over 25 yrs. But so many things went wrong with my delivered pizza tonight, I just had to share. This store has issues.
First, I ordered the pizza well done, nada.
Second, I asked for it not to be cut, but they cut it anyway.
Third, I ordered half my pizza with pineapple and mushrooms. They just threw the pinepple in a clump on what was one slice, and I couldn’t find any mushrooms at all.
Fourth, it got to be 15 mins past delivery time, and the papa tracker showed the pizza was still at the store. Since I had requested contactless delivery, I called the store, who told me they were running behind and it was out for delivery. I went to turn on the front porch light and see a pizza sitting there. Cold.
Lastly, I called the store back to talk to the manager and explain the issues. I was not looking for another pizza, but by the time I finished listening to the following, I got one! He had to be the rudest store manager I’ve dealt with in a long time. Not only did he explain that they were very busy and doing the best they could, but he also told me I should not have ordered so many toppings, and that was why the pizza was wrong. REALLY??
He also told me that pizza WAS cooked well because he had done it himself, but when our conversation first started, he had no clue who I was or what my order was. Then he put me on hold without any warning,
I held on for over 5 minutes because, what was I going to do, eat a cold, badly made pizza? He finally comes back and says, “Your new pizza is being made. Is there anything else you want?” WOW!
Just take a look at the pics of the 2 TOTALLY different looking pizzas.
Dominoes, or possibly Jet’s, just gained a new customer.

Absolutely foul. Not edible. Ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas tonight and after trying to get through 2 slices realized the problem was spoiled pepperoni. The overall taste of the thin crust was like a Totinos party pizza. Not sure what happened, but this place is not the same quality it once was. The pizzas will be going into the trash. Wasted my hard earned money. Rare photo of pizza in the trash attached. How many times has pizza been so bad you couldn’t even eat it?

Multiple times I have received a pizza with a ridiculously thin and overcooked crust. Pizza shouldn’t be crunchy, especially when I did not order a thin crust pizza. I’ve ordered from multiple papa johns around the country, and this one is by far the worst.

Very consistent in delivering your food in about an hour. I order dominoes and get it in 20 minutes. Papa John’s is the same distance away but they use third party delivery so I always wait close to an hour. Lesson learned from now on.

Every time I go into this specific Papa John’s, the people working there are always super nice and attentive. They always greet you with a smile, and check out is easy. The pizza was cooked perfectly, and they have plenty of pineapple on the pizza, which a lot of places skimp on.

I haven’t ordered Papa John’s in a long time. I only ordered from here because it was late on a holiday. I already knew that the pie was NOT made to Papa John’s standards as soon as I opened it in the store. So I took it home anyways and put it back in the oven for more cooking. I should have just went to the local grocery store for a frozen pizza. This is guaranteed to be last time I ever buy a pie from Papa John’s. Firm.
