Little pricey for the ambiance, but the food was really good and ingredients and portions or healthy. I had the house special fried rice it was delicious. Make sure you keep an eye on the time, it was before 3:00 and they charged me dinner price instead of offering the lunch special.

Lived nearby years ago and loved the food. Came back for a visit and still just as great! Same owners.
Now easy to order online and pickup in store.

Food has gone down hill everything is too sweet the lo mein is full of onion pits and oil the hot and sour isn’t sour and lacks salt. I don’t know what happened but the food is trash now.
Only took a few bites before the oil got to me

The sweet and sour shrimp was amazing. Only drawback is that if you order plain fried rice there isn’t anything in it- no veggies or sprouts. I attribute that to me just ordering wrong but it was a bit disappointing nonetheless.

Been eating here for 13 years and have very rarely had bad food, maybe 3 times out of probably a hundred. Crab Rangoon is excellent, they fry it just long enough to be crispy but not brown and flaky. My fave is definitely General Tsos chicken. Friendly service as well

I now know the New China does not know the difference between Mongolian Beef, Sa Cha Beef, Szechuan Beef or Beef with garlic sauce. I have tried all four in hopes one would be remotely close to the Mongolian Beef I have ordered and eaten at two other places in Springfield. (Hunan Express and Thai Basil). I am finished with a so called authentic Chinese restaurant which does nothing more than slap a different name on the same dish… none of which resemble what the dish should be
Mongolian beef is supposed to be primarily beef, green and white onions and garlic in a garlic sauce served over the crispy rice noodles along with steamed white rice.
New China loads up their version with broccoli, green peppers, white onions, mushrooms and snow peas so I cannot tell or taste the difference between the 4 different I have ordered… the only difference seems to be the name listed on the receipt. Will not try anything else there… as I prefer the old China to the New China.
While I do not prefer their offerings, others apparently like it as there seems to be a good amount of take out…. taste is subjective and New China is not my taste. Apparently people in Riverton do not care or just do not know any better

Ordered large vegetable fried rice and two spring rolls to go. Got home the spring rolls were soggy in the middle suggesting they weren’t thoroughly cooked. And the vegetable fried rice wasn’t even edible because the vegetables I’m not sure even saw heat. They were beyond chewable. Threw everything in the garbage because when I tried to call the number listed on Google for the business it wasn’t an active number so you can’t even call to voice your experience. I’ve been ordering for this place for 7 years and it ended today. No more
