We just came here for the 1st time, this week. This place is very nice. It is old school cool. Everything was great. I had the sea scallops. They were delicious. My wife had the special of the night. It was osso buco. It was so delicate and tender, it could be cut with a fork. The flavor was magnificent. Everything was awesome.

I was so disappointed in the food because they came highly recommended, we went for Valentine’s Day, so they didn’t have the regular money which was fine. So I ordered the chicken Parm and he ordered their stuffed shrimp. Both meals come out super cold not even look for him. The table next to us we were chatting with them. There’s come out super cold as well. So I asked the waitress what we could do she said let me get the owner. He came over and told me he would throw it in the microwave. You don’t throw food that I’m paying $50 for in the microwave Because that’s what their prices were because it was Valentine’s Day. His stuffed shrimp were so charred and hard on the bottom, they were in edible and he said that’s how they’re supposed to be no shrimp. Should never be hard when you can actually take a fork and knock on it and hear it that we paid $50 for so for $145 bill we ate nothing other than the soup which I will say Was phenomenal and I don’t like French onion soup so I will give them credit for that. That was good, but for the meal itself, I will never go back there.

Me and my husband ran across this restaurant for dinner and it was absolutely wonderful. We were greeted by the owner. And our waitress Cassandra told us all about their specials. This first special she mentioned was the salmon dinner and that’s what I ordered with green beans and a Caesar salad. My husband ordered the filet mignon Baked potato and French onion soup. Everything came out fresh and hot. The salmon was delicious. And the green beans had a tomato sauce over them. It was very good. The Caesar salad was very fresh . My husband said his steak was perfect and the French onion soup was hot and also very good. Cassandra was very nice and pleasant. She even put my food in the to go boxes and a bag for me. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience it was top notch and worth every penny. This is definitely a place for a perfect meal.

The food here is awesome. Seafood and steaks are always excellent. Chicken Perdino is also great and always available, but never on the menu. Owner is also a great host.

Had reservations for Christmas Eve. We arrived and got seated quickly. Order 2 appetizers. The calimari and escargot were just so so. Both of us ordered the Salmon off the limited menu. We waited over an hour and no salmon. The waitress (who checked only twice) asked us what we ordered (she initially said if we ordered the chicken dish) we explained that we both ordered the salmon, to which she said our order got screwed up, but they’re cooking it now. Another half hour passed (as we watched other guests receiving their food) we ended up walking out after waiting for an hour and a half for our entrees. WORSE SERVICE EVER…NEVER GOING BACK, which is a shame because we live on Grosse Ile and try and support our local businesses…

Lovely Valentine’s Day dinner. Food was delicious and attentive service by Cassandra. Beautiful piano and surprised no one was playing. Try the cheese bread. We were shocked and amazed by this appetizer. We both got shrimp. Definitely a great old school restaurant.

The T-bone was flavored with beef boulione, had to be. Anyone who knows how to cook can’t mistake that taste. No where near cooked right. There’s no way this place has a 4.5 star. There was a lot more issues but ya, should have left when we walked in and was the only couple there.

Good fish and shrimp. Dishes lean on pasta as side dish, nothing special aout the noodles. Sauces are good but settle heavy on the gut. Very noisey and cramped seating. Old people would and do love it. Business casual attire recommend or the local diners will give you side eye. Definitely a Grosse Ille place
