So glad we tried this new place. Food was awesome, service was great; great job guys & girls. My wife & I both had their two meat special. Great portion sizes btw. She had the sausage & pulled pork, I had the brisket & hot links. Watch out, the hot links are spicy but very good, great flavor. Everything we had was so flavorful. The brisket was great by itself. Tender & pull apart, just right. Their regular sauce was a bit sweet for me, but still good; liked the spicy sauce better. She had ocra & potato salad, I had a bite; both were yummy. Ocra was well cooked. I had the ranch style beans & spicy potatoes, loved them. The potatoes were not too spicy. My boys had the chicken tenders. They had Mac & cheese and cream corn for sides. Both were wonderful. The cream corn was almost a dessert, so sweet; but had some spice to it. Enjoyed their Texas toast too. Great treat that they offered free ice cream for dine in guests. I’ll have to try the banana pudding on the next trip, it looked so good. Great food, just loved it, & decent prices. My boys loved ringing the bell at the end. All the staff was so helpful & fast, great attitudes.

I was craving some pies and went to Mac-Donald for the apple pie just to be told they are out. So as i was omw home i turned at Soulman’s cause i wanted pies lol. Buttermilk pie is the only thing i ordered and it was very delicious and satisfying. I could only imagine how the good is. I will go back for the food and keep yall updated.

My memory did not make me thing tremendous things of Soulman’s but since this one opened near my house I had to try it out and it did not disappoint, even if my expectations were low from older visits. The irresistible hickory smoke wafting from the pit. This is family-friendly, with a drive-thru and indoor seating as well.

I got the two meat plate with brisket and sausage and the sides of mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. The brisket was tender and smoky, sliced lean just right with that perfect bark. The sausage had a nice spice that left room for flavor. The mac and cheese was nice and creamy. Generous portions as well.

The service was amazing! They even have a host monitor the floor for any needs you may have (i.e. refills, more BBQ sauce, etc.). I was promptly greeted upon entering as well. I must admit my memories of Soulman’s were not that it was great but this experience changed my mind. It still comes in behind my favorite local BBQ place but this is close to home and I am sure I will return. The service from the staff goes a long way as well.

The service was -incredibly- slow. The frito pie type BBQ bowl was a soggy mess under the meat. The kids chicken fingers were tiny and hard. The fries were totally undercooked. The soft serve was good at least. I really wanted to like this place but we will not be going here again.

Very glad to have something different in the area. I took the family here for lunch and it was really good. The kids had the Soulbowl and The Tyler and they really enjoyed it. The wife enjoyed the spicy kick of the hot links. Holley was tending to the dining room and she was great. Plus ice cream when your done… We will be back

Pulled pork is excellent. Pecan pie, banana pudding, and buttermilk pie hard to choose from so we get all three.

I ordered online and arrived on time for pickup. Order was about 7 minutes late. No worries. They were apologetic and friendly at the drive thru window. We had brisket and sausage and both were very tasty and flavorful. Brisket was slightly dry but tender. Green beans and Mac and cheese were delicious. My only complaint is we didn’t get any bbq sauce. I would think that would be standard.

Soulman’s Bar-B-Q on Rufe Snow in North Richland Hills was the best one yet. Me and my hubby went today our 1st time there. The staff was friendly very inviting!! The food was fresh and hot that’s what we love and it was delicious!! The location going towards East Texas, because we have land there. My food there was always cold. So y’all please keep up the good work!! You all were the best!!!! ❤️

Came to the grand opening (the radio station booth outside the restaurant caught our eye around lunch time) & really enjoyed our experience (our first time trying Soulman’s)!

The brisket was some of the best I’ve ever had! The fries, toast, and BBQ sauce were tasty too.

The restaurant is super clean and stylish, and the menu is huuuuge!!! Plenty of parking as well.

The next time we want BBQ, there’s a 100% chance we’ll be getting Soulman’s. I guess we need the T-shirt now, “I wat all my bar-b-que at Soulman’s!

This was our first visit to this location. We had stopped by another location years ago while driving on I-30 headed to Texarkana one weekend. My wife got food from there. It was very good so we decided to try this location tonight.

My wife and I are each ordered the two meat dinner. We both ordered brisket and I ordered the ribs and she ordered sausage.

The food was very good. The staff was friendly and the lady that sliced the brisket and put the food on our trays did it rather fancy. When my wife and I sat at the table across from each other, my first observation was that both our trays were well organized like a chef was back there trying to make BBQ sophisticated. No joke.

We enjoyed the food and it was a clean and organized place. It was a great to eat some good BBQ with good sides and the banana pudding was good as well. We have lived in the area for 25+ years and Shady Oak is our go-to. But now we have a place that we like just as much….if not a little more.

We’re going to try the fish fry some Friday night. If they do that right and please this Arkansas boy, they’ll be seeing a lot of us.
