Hate to leave a bad review, I’ve had plenty of good pizza from Wig and Pen. We ordered a flying tomato and half of the pizza was the same thickness as a thin crust. Crust was soggy. This should have been remade. Pretty disappointing, especially for the price. Check your carry out before you leave..

Super over priced for what you are getting. For $16 I feel like I should be getting fresh chicken and not prepackaged/precooked meat… very disappointed. I’ve heard great things about the Coralville location so I thought the north liberty one would have the same quality. Are you serving precooked chicken in your sit down location?! ALWAYS THE WORST experiences ever at these locations. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. These locations have become so overpriced for cruddy quality and the quantity of actual food does not match what you’d expect. The toppings, even when you pay $2-5 extra for EXTRA toppings, you’d expect them to be noticed and plentiful. Nope, go ahead and expect about 8 pieces of sausage on your large extra sausage pizza that costs about $30-40 on its own. Then if you want to discuss with the employees, especially at this location, you are ALWAYS met with aggression. I’ve never gone to a restaurant, outside of the ones you pay to insult and be aggressive to you, have an employee(s) so ready to fight you when you’re simply upset about an entirely messed up order. Being met at the counter by a chef that decides to eavesdrop and RUN out of the restroom so angrily ready to argue his point over simply taking a pizza and remaking it like any other restaurant. Then to be given terrible attitude and be told “take the pizza that you wanted and get out” is disgusting. NEVER again will I or any of my loved ones bother to even CONSIDER this place for even stopping in to use the restroom. If zero stars were an option for this review, that’s what I’d rate it.

We loved this pizza! Ate there two days in a row on a short trip to Iowa. Deep dish was amazing! Traditional crust was even better. My son said the calzone was the best he has ever had. Even the salad was delicious!

We love wig and pen, best pizza in north Liberty! Our favorite is the spicy Hawaiian and Union Jack. Owner is awesome and gave us a free pizza because he liked my hat. Great pizza and people!
